This recipe was impressive! I wound up with 9 biscuits, but I think that next time I'll make the biscuits just a bit smaller. I think I'll even up the cheese by a small amount. Word to the wise if you're planning to make these: the biscuits absolutely soak up the butter, so really slop it on! They'll still be nice and firm on the outside. Thanks for sharing this recipe; I'll be making it often!

I've been using this recipe for some time now and just realized I'd never reviewed it. OOPS. Me & DH simply ADORE these. They are yummy beyond belief. I use Homemade Bisquick Mix for the bisquick.

These are great!!!! Totally unbelievable!!! They came out so airy and tasty....exactly like Red Lobster's. My family raved over them. I will definitely make this my biscuit recipe from here on out. The only thing I did differently was to add 1/2 Teaspoon of garlic powder, onion powder, garlic salt and about 4 Tablespoons of unsalted butter into the bisquick mixture and mixed it all together with the milk and cheese. Then, to the 1/2 Cup of unsalted butter and the 1/4 Teaspoon of garlic powder they asked for, I also added some onion powder, garlic salt, and a few drops of Zatarains concentrated shrimp & crab boil and drizzled some on the cookie sheet. After dropping the dough onto the cookie sheet, I drizzled a bit more of the butter mixture over the dough. Delicious! I wound up with 8 big biscuits. They were bigger than Red Lobster's but that's fine with me :o) Also, the bottoms didn't burn since I had the butter mixture on the cookie sheet.

These are very good, about as close to Red Lobster's as you can get..

I absolutely LOVE these biscuits. The first time I made them DH said "We're never going to Red Lobster again." We would literally go for the biscuits but hated the food. No need any more. I mix these up once a week because they're so easy. There is one thing I've changed. Instead of garlic powder in the butter that gets brushed on top I use some garlic salt, that's what they use at Red Lobster and it makes a HUGE difference. They do get a bit brown on the bottom because of the cheese but cooking smaller biscuits and using a pan that isn't really dark helps. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! JodiGirl!!

These were so good. I could not stay out of them. I even used the reduced fat bisquick and reduced fat cheese.

Outstanding! I used about double the amount of cheese and really slathered them with the butter and still didn't use it all. I like the fact that you can control the amount of garlic too. A really nice recipe--and quick too.

These were easy and great. I altered the recipe unintentionally, because I didn't read very carefully.
I mixed the garlic powder in with the Bisquick, milk, and cheese. I placed a dab of butter on each biscuit before popping them into the oven, so it melted over them as they baked. Definitely will make these again! Thanks!

3 stars for now. These did not work for me. The tops were not bad but the bottoms stuck & were black. The concept is there so I think I just have to play with size, temp. or time. Also would prefer a bit more cheesy taste. Will try again. Thanks for posting.
