These are delicious muffins! They are very moist with a wonderful flavor. I didn't have orange zest so I used lemon zest and it was wonderful. I also used a few extra blueberries as we love them. Very easy to put together. I melted my butter with the milk in the microwave and then cooled. Thanks Evelyn for a great recipe!

Delicious! My son is lactose-intolerant, so I substituted orange juice for the milk and reg. veg. oil for the butter — they still came out perfect! Thanks!

Perfect muffin! I used frozen raspberries, but I thawed them slightly. I also added a 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon which was a nice addition. The texture is light, moist, and the orange zest sets off the raspberry flavor nicely. I gave them as teacher treats for Valentine's Day, and they looked very nice. These are a new favorite of mine--thank you so much, Evelyn, for sharing your recipe.

Beautiful muffins. They have a wonderfully light texture and were very easy to make. I used raspberries instead of blueberries and that worked just fine. I also don't keep muffin cups around the house, so I just greased and floured my muffin tin. They took exactly 20 minutes to bake. I don't feel any extra sugar is needed, but I can see how a bit of cinnamon or nutmeg might be a nice variation.

I'll admit, I wondered if I'd like the orange zest being in these but I really did. I felt it made the whole muffin seem 'fresh and sunny'. We really enjoyed these moist, delicious treats! I ran out of muffin papers and even though they were still good muffins, they are better when you use the papers. I'll be making these again! Thanks evelyn!

These were really tasty. I also used the microwave for the first 4 ingredients. I sprinkled a generous amount of the topping from 54782 blueberry kuchen on 8 of the muffins, yummy! This is a keeper for my picky family.

An excellent muffin recipe. I used frozen mixed berries with blackberries, blue berries and raspberries. My Mom stopped in for coffee just as I was pulling these out of the oven. She took some home and the recipe. Thanks Evelyn for another tried and true recipe. MaryL

This is a lovely recipe. The use of zest is inspired, really brings out the blueberries.

UNBELIEVABLE! I've been looking for this perfect blueberry recipe where they'd be soft, moist, fluffy and rise well..
I substituted 1/4 cup white whole wheat flour and didn't have orange zest or extract so I added a teaspoon of lemon extract.
It's 2pm and I'm finishing my 3rd one..(plus the left over from the kids!
... They are rising so well - looking just like the deli ones!

Delicious! I used fresh blueberries - bit more than specified. I really like the way this recipes mixes the milk/butter/flavorings together in a saucepan and I am going to use this method in oher recipes that require melting the butter. Thanks for sharing.
