I made this as a "dump" recipe by dumping the chicken (I used thighs) and the ingredients into a ziploc bag and then freezing. To serve, I dumped the contents of the bag into my crockpot and then let it cook all day and it worked perfectly. I have added this to my OAMC chicken collection, thanks!

This was a very flavorful, yet easy to prepare dish. I downsized to feed four & used chicken thighs instead of breasts, but otherwise followed the recipe as posted. I liked the subtle spiciness from the chili powder. It was sweet, but not overly so. I served this withMizzNezz's Fried Sweet Potatoes & Country Lady's Pan Roasted Asparagus. Thanks, Jill.

This was amazing! I used about 1 1/2 lbs of chicken, so I halved the recipe (I wish I hadn't because the sauce was so good, I would have liked extra!) This would be great on ribs, too. TFS!

One word to describe this is WOW!!! I just can not believe something so simple taste so good. My children and I just gobbled this up. I changed 2 things in this recipe and that was I used cherry fruit only preserve and only one tsp of chili powder and it came out so wonderful and made the house smell so good when cooking. I served it with rice and poured the sauce from the chicken on the rice. My son who dose not like rice even ate the rice with the sauce from the chicken. Thank You so much for posting this Jillaz, Naomi

Excellent! really enjoyed it - the combination of flavours was lovely and next time I think I'll add a clove of crushed garlic too! A previous reviewer missed the point of this recipe by omitting the chilli - it's not hot at all but the very subtle "zing" combined with the sweetness of the preserve and the sourness of the vinegar really works! Make it but DO NOT omitt the chilli! Chilli doesn't necessarily mean spicy and how do your family know if you never experiment? x

Easy and yummy! Dh told me I need to make sure to have seedless though as he hates having seeds in his teeth. He did enjoy it though! I also did it as a dump recipe. Thank you so much!

This was great. I used orange marmalade because that is what I had on hand. Yummy. I split this into 3 bags with two breasts each.

This was good - followed recipe as-is. I placed 2 BLSL Chicken Breasts per quart freezer bag and split the marinade 3 ways. This makes 3 meals for us.

This was very popular at my house and so easy after work. I made several for the freezer after the first time we tried this. I used black cherry jelly, a bit more chili powder and a couple of tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce.

This is a delicious chicken recipe! I used the sugarfree blackberry preserves. I also used boneless chicken breasts and did not brown them. Thanks JillAZ for a wonderful easy recipe.
