These are a must and trust me a huge hit at BBQ's. It needs a bit more "kick" than the recipe calls for so I added LOTS of garlic and onion powder and the spanish seasoning salt Adobo. This will be made on a very regular basis during grill season.

These were really good. I had a hard time getting the onion in. I sprinkled them with a mixture of Adobo season, garlic & onion powder & pepper. I baked them until almost done in the oven then grilled them for about 15 mins until tender. They were bland when eating so I mashed them with more butter and season(like you would a baked potato)then they were really good. I will make again.

These were great! By recommendations of the other reviewers I added garlic powder, onion powder and seasoned salt, and I personally like thyme so I added that also. Thank You!

I put two chopsticks on either side of the potatoes to prevent cutting all the way down by mistake. I will NEVER make the traditional grilled potatoes again! Thanks for a great recipe.

These were very good but next time I will add more seasoning. I left off the onions as I do not care for them but that is just my preference. Thank you for sharing and I will make these again.

What a great way to prepare potoatoes on a hot day. No need to heat up the kitchen with this dish. We had friends over and I assembled the potatoes earlier in the day. Then all I had to do was pop them on the grill. The potatoes were soft, buttery and the onion added just the right flavor to them. Thanks for sharing, Derf. I will be making these when we go camping too.

These are great bbq potatoes! It took a little longer than I thought to prepare, but they were well worth it. Very soft and tasty when finished, and the onion (I used a sweet yellow) added a great flavor.

I followed suggestions of other reviewers and added extra seasoning. Make extra if you have the potatoes; leftovers were very good the next day for hash.
