What a deliciously different way to enjoy mashed potatoes! DH and I really enjoyed these the other night as a side to our lamb chops. Loved the addition of basil and pine nuts in the garnish. We will definitely be making this again (when I'm not devouring your garlic cauliflower). Thanks, Rita. Made for ZWT4.

One word...YUMMY! What is better them potatoes and pesto? Nothing! Let alone when they are put together. This is the perfect new twist for side dishes. The pesto is perfect in potatoes. Their flavors match great. I served this with grilled lemon chicken, and wow, what a great dipper. It was just a wonderful dinner idea. Thank you so much!

Very, very nice! I'm not one to use pesto sauce much, so went out an put my money down for some! Found this to be a very unusual & great way to dress up the taste of mashed potatoes! Thanks for sharing!

Halfway through making this recipe I discovered that I was out of pesto, so I got creative and made my own out of the only thing in the house that would work...bok choy. It was very tasty, and probably a lot healthier than my typical mashed potatoes swimming in melted butter. I can't wait to try it with real pesto!

These are very delicious. It combines the wonderfulness of mashed potatoes with the great taste of pesto. We made this with chicken marsala for a wonderful italian meal. I followed all the ingredients per recipe.

Very different for us, but we enjoyed it a lot. I'm not a huge fan of pesto, but I really enjoyed it in mashed potatoes. I added some fresh oregano and a little garlic as well. Delish! Made for ZWT4 for the Tastebud Tickling Travellers.
