I ran out of mayonnaise for my potato salad, so I tried this. I haven't put mayonnaise back on the shopping list. This is quick, easy and even better than Hellman's.

I made this recipe using the Magic Bullet instead. I added the vegetable oil in four stages with good result. If you've never tasted homemade mayonnaise you are really missing out. This recipe has great taste and is perfect for sandwiches or potato salad.

Very good and turned out great making it with my mini food processor (just added the oil a little at a time). My husband liked it and when I put the remainder inside the old Miracle Whip jar, my kids didn't notice the difference. Thanks!

Okay so I used this recipe as a base but I used 2 large eggs. 1/2 tablespoon of vinegar and 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice. I didn't have any dry mustard so I added onion powder and garlic powder and I omitted the hot water. It was STILL perfect! Your method is incredible. The slow drizzling of the oil is essential. Thanks!

This is the 2nd homemade mayo recipe I've tried from this site and I like this one much better than the first. I added a tiny shake of cayenne pepper, as suggested, and artificial sweetener equal to 2 teaspoons sugar, plus I added 2 teaspoons of rice wine vinegar just to give it a little more zip. It came out very good. I'll definitely be making this one again.

I made this mayonnaise in my blender and it came together very quickly and has a nice texture. The flavor wasnt there for me, I like the bit of tang, so I added about a tablespoon or so of horseradish sauce and it is wonderful! I cant wait to make tuna or egg salad and use this mayo. Great versatile recipe that I will make again. Made and reviewed for the Celebrity Chef's forum.......December Secret Ingredient Tag Game.

Good flavor, but a bit too salty for my tastes. Will use less in the next batch. This was also the 1st time I made mayo using a blender...while it does work, I still prefer using a food processor (but then I have one of the small food processors, KWIM?). Recipe is a keeper, though...thanks!
