I LOVE this recipe! I wanted some brownies, and this seemed quick, so I tried it. SO YUMMY AND EASY!!! I was a little worried at first because it was so thick and I had to spread it around in the pan, but it turned out delish!

LOVED this recipe. I like a rich flavour with chocolate, so I substituted a cup of white sugar with a packed cup of dark cane sugar. The results were sensational!

Excellent brownies! I had to use only 3/4 cup of butter and egg substitute, as that is all I had. They turned out wonderful, despite my recipe modifications! I skipped the icing, I didn't think they needed anything else. Why gild the lily, right? Thanks, Cheryl!

I just made these and ate one still hot from the pan with the icing on it. To die for is right! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!

I made these vegan and without the icing. I have had all sorts of brownies (vegan and non) and these are hands down the best ever!!

I really hate to give a loe rating and almost didn't put the stars at all, but I was so dissapointed. I was going by everyone's reviews and it all sounded so good that I doubled the batch to bring to some friends Now I'm not sure what to do w/ all of them....they were very bitter and I used good quality cocoa. I found the texture to be very strange and they were the least favorite brownie recipe I have ever used...I followed this recipe exactly as written too.

delicious brownies, but heed the blurb - if you're bent on a gooey, fudgy brownie, this is not the one for you. still, as far a brownie/cake hybrids go, this was very good. but it doesn't stand alone, the frosting is a must-have, to kick it up that notch. i omitted the nuts, since that disturbs my smooth brownie nirvana - otherwise this was a very enjoyable treat along with a murder mystery.

I'm always looking for good brownie recipes, and this one is definitely a winner! The icing is delicious and really makes these brownies sinful. My husband had a huge smile on his face when he took his first bite.
