We are having a hot summer and this is so refreshing. Damon and I sat outside last night and drank 2 glasses. I will use this recipe all summer long, mine never had the right taste, now it does, thanks Bev!

I love this recipe! It is such a great twist on traditional southern sweet tea. My husband is a convert! And that is saying alot for a man from sunny virginia.

Excellent ice tea, we have mint growing in the garden and this sounded so refreshing, had to try it. It was delicious and so refreshing, as promised. I just made half a recipe and used just 1/4 cup of splenda, next time I will make a whole recipe and leave out the splenda, I think it'll be quite nice as a tart drink sweetened by the mint. Thanks for posting we will enjoy this all summer!!

This recipe is wonderful! I made it last night and am sipping it right now! I put too many lemons in the first glass, so it tasted a little weird at first. However, I really like it now that I left out the lemons! Since I don't like my tea very strong, I diluted it by half and reduced the sugar to 3/4 cup. So far it's perfect! Thanks!

This is such a great, simple recipe- what would a summer be like without mint tea? I used Splenda in place of sugar and it turned out just perfect- or you can use 1/2 sugar & 1/2 Splenda for you super tasters who can actually taste the difference! Splitting it half and half you won't be able to! I love this receipe- thank you so much for sharing!

I made the tea with blackberry tea bags and sweetened with splenda. It was wonderful and so refreshing. Somehow adding the sweetener to the hot liquid improves the flavor!

My tea has never tasted so good. Perfectly sweetened, with a touch of mint, I'll be drinking this one all summer long. Now I don't have to be embarrased to serve my tea to guests.

How to change 5 minutes preparation time into 2 hours: do what I did and use a non-heat safe pitcher. It broke when I poured the tea in. The tea went down into the cutlery drawer and tupperware cabinet so I had to wash everything in there. Also the tea stained my white painted cabinets so I just finished bleaching them. Not a criticism of the recipe at all, this was my mistake! I haven't tried the tea yet. In retrospect, using a hand-blown Mexican glass pitcher was not a very smart move....

Delicious iced tea, Bev! Very refreshing with a wonderful minty taste.I used regular tea this time and left out the sugar and the next time I'll use green tea to see how we like that. Thanks for posting this, Bev- it's a keeper!
