What a fabulous chicken recipe! The chicken is tender, juicy and has a wonderful tangy zip from the lemon and buttermilk. The flour coating is not overbearing, but nice and light and crispy. Thanks so much for sharing this one!

YUM!!! Delicious!! I tried these today and marinating them overnight gave them a terrific flavor! It was tangy and I ate them with french fries. I seasoned them only a tiny bit because these can stand on their own! Thanks for the TERRIFIC recipe hightcotton!

This is a delicious fried chicken recipe. Lots and lots of flavor. Make sure and let the chicken set overnite in the buttermilk mixture, this is the secret I think to all of the great flavor and tenderness. Great recipe!

These were so good! I omitted step #14,(sprinkle the seasoning salt on the cooked chicken) as the lemon pepper already had some salt in it, and I didn't want the fingers to be too salty. This is a definite keeper. I used a total of 3 chicken breasts, and half the required buttermilk but it was still too much... That didn't matter because these were the best chicken fingers ever.

Oh my, this chicken was delicious! It fried to a gorgeous golden brown color with a crispy coating that was nicely seasoned. I didn't want to serve a dipping sauce with this as it would have detracted from the wonderful taste. The only complaint I received was that I didn't cook more! Thanks a bunch for sharing this recipe.

Wow! These are amazing! I forgot the buttermilk when I was shopping so I mixed milk, cream and sour cream (I know - heart attack material!) to marinate the chicken in. It turned out great anyway. I also added some onion powder to the flour mix. We loved the way the flour would 'clump' to the chicken. It made it extra cripy! Do try!!!
