68 Reviews of Cinnamon Sugar Bread, Bread Machine

Mmmm, mmmmmm, goooooood! The only change I made was to use an extra 1/4 tsp. cinnamon. The entire house smelled wonderful while this was baking. We couldn't wait to try it, so we snuck a sample as soon as it came out of the machine. Three other people have sampled from this loaf, and I've received rave reviews from all of them. Next time, I may try adding another extra 1/4 tsp cinnamon and maybe some raisins to see how it will turn out. I've added this one to my cookbook so I don't "lose" it. Thank you so much for sharing this simple recipe!

This is so good. I have a cinnamon sugar bread machine recipe and I'll definitely replace it with this one. I baked mine on the light bread cycle. I totally agree that this would make excellent cinnamon rolls and I plan on trying it soon. Thanks for a delicious recipe. It is a keeper.

This bread has a fantastic, sweet flavor. It's much different than anything I've made with my bread machine before. I wasn't going to try any until this morning, but I cut off the end piece to take the picture last night and ended up eating the whole piece. I just couldn't stop! It's so moist. It was also fantastic toasted and slathered with margarine. I'll definitely be making this again!

This bread was delicious!! I made it exactly as written and it turned out perfect. It rose up very high and had a nice crust to it. I had a piece...well, make that two pieces, while it was still warm and it was very tasty. My family loved this and gave it two HUGE thumbs up. Thank you for sharing this keeper recipe.

I made this today in my bread machine, and wow, it was simply delicious!...wonderful tasting bread (we had our slathered with butter!), my second loaf is baking as I type, as we have already devoured the first loaf today! The only change that I made was, I used Quick-Rise yeast (1-1/2 tsp)..in the machine that I have, quick rise seems to work better, it turned out great...yes, I agree, I think this would make wonderful sweet dough for cinnamon rolls, I will try that next. Thanks so much Charmed for this great recipe, we enjoyed it so much, this is definately a keeper!.....KC

I made this bread this morning and served it fresh from the bread machine! It smelled heavenly while baking and tasted just as wonderful toasted with butter and additional sugar-cinnamon sprinkled on top! Who can argue with sugar and cinnamon? It's an unbeatable combination! This is a delightful bread and an excellent choice to be served with your next breakfast! I enjoyed it, Charmed : ) Thanks for sharing it with all of us here in Zaar!

This bread is one of the best I have ever tried in the bread machine, and I have had a machine for 10 years! The bread has a great consistency, and today, I am going to try the bread (dough cycle) and make monkey bread. I am sure it will be outstanding and can't wait to sample it!

Smells great while cooking! I used the Basic Regular Crust (1 to 1 1/2lb) setting on a Breadman Plus bread machine . For milk, I used 2%. Wasn't sure what temp milk should be, decided to not warm it up any more than it would get just sitting around while I added all the ingredients to the pan. I substituted the butter/margarine with the stick form of "I can't believe it's not butter (original)", has about 72% fat content. Softened it in the microwave for 10 seconds. Used heaping measurements for the cinnamon, might put more in next time. Wasn't sure what size egg to use, had a large egg so used that. Bread rose nicely. Looks and smells good too. Tastes great!!! Will try to put some pics up too.

This was a really good recipe. I increased the cinnamon to 2 teaspoons and it still seemed a bit weak. The texture of this bread was perfect though and it was SO soft. When I make this again I am going to increase the sugar and the cinnamon to give it a bolder flavor. Thanks for the recipe!

The best bread I've made in my bread machine so far. I did not use bread flour. I changed the measurements to 2 lb loaf (the smallest my kenmore goes) and used 1 C of whole wheat flour and 3 C of all purpose. Turned out great!
