The possibilities with these muffins are ENDLESS! I replaced all the oil with a lite cinnamon applesauce & I've never had a more moist muffin! I replaced the raisins with 1/4 cup mini choc chips but I'll try chopped frozen strawberries & 1 cup mashed bananas. I also added 1/2 cup Splenda for a sweeter muffin. Thanks so much!

These were moist, delicious, and very easy to mix up and bake. I rarely bake when my kids aren't napping, but I was able to make these while also caring for my 3 month old twins and my 2 year old. It was that easy! That definitely gets 5 stars in my book.

I loved these! And they stood the day after test - they were just as good the next day - cold or heated in the microwave. They are a flat topped muffin, but good flavor. Thanks for helping me with a healthy breakfast!

The taste was great, but mine did not look like any muffin I have made before..they were flat and lumpy. I followed the recipe as given , adding a few chopped walnuts. My husband wouldn't eat them- said they looked funny. Any ideas what I did wrong?

I made these last night for our Christmas breakfast. I did make a couple of changes. I used whole wheat pastry flour and sifted it. I used Splenda for the brown sugar. I soaked the raisins in hot water for 30 min. drained them and added at the last. I also added 1Tblsp. of mollasses and 1 Tblspn. of ground flax seed. This made a wonderful moist muffin. I also made sweetened butter made with Splenda, to go on them. Very good recipe and very versitil.

These were SO GOOD!!! They were very moist and had a good texture. I used fresh blueberries instead of raisins. I think they were the best blueberry muffins I ever had!

Good and easy recipe. I make tons of muffins and freeze them. My summer guests will enjoy these I'm sure.

Excellent! DH says they are a little "healthy tasting" but still loves them (as does the rest of the fam)! I also used blueberries instead of raisins and it worked great!
