This is one of the best! I serve it with noodles or rice the first night. Then with the leftovers, I shred the chicken and we make a wrap with a little sour cream, cheese and Tabasco. I use frozen corn with excellent results

This was wonderful, and the best part was that it was SO easy. I used a 15oz jar of salsa and an 8oz package of cream cheese, and added just a dash of garlic powder and a dash of ground red pepper for zip. Served with rice and cornbread, YUMMY. Thanks for a great recipe. I will definitely be making this one again and again.

I make this all the time and love it! A few tips... if your sauce is too runny, defrost the chicken breasts, also I like to add a 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. I like to shred the chicken up with a fork and serve it over rice or in a tortilla shell. A great thing to do with the leftovers is spread them in a casserole dish, spread shredded cheddar over the top and heat until melted. Then scoop up with tirtilla chips.

This was a great recipe! 5 stars because it was so darn easy and the flavor was pretty tasty. I used light cream cheese, added a little onion salt and garlic powder and a squeeze of lime juice just before serving. I think it would have been great topped with some chopped cilantro but all I had was parsley. I used frozen chicken breast and man were they tender. I tried to slice the chicken for a more attractive presentation for the photo, but it was so moist it fell apart! I served with yellow rice and a salad and my family really liked it. A great weeknight meal for anyone on the go. I wanted to add, if you have leftovers, shred the chicken and mix it with the sauce. It makes a FANTASTIC dip with tortilla chips! YUM!

I prepared these yesterday, the smell was wonderful. Couldn't wait for dinner. Very very taste! But I did not like the clear liquid (broth)that was from the frozen chicken. I drained it off twice. Hubby and I think we would not use frozen chicken next time and we would cut the breast in to medallions for easier serving & our large pieces were kind of dry. Only thing I'd add would maybe be sour cream in with the cream cheese. Other than that it's a keeper & ya'll should try this one. (You know how we cooks are, just can't leave an original recipe alone)

Keeper. I used 1.5-15 oz jars of salsa, and it was too much. I'll stick with 1-15 oz jar. I also used half sour cream and half cream cheese. That, I'd do again. I'd recommend shredding the chicken. Very nice, Jen.

Loved this!!!!! Hubby gave it some weird looks when it was cooking (didnt look too appetizing in the crockpot)- but he loved the way it tasted this is definately a keeper and oh so easy to make! I didnt have 5-6 hrs, so I used fresh chicken breast strips on high for about 3 hrs- and it came out perfect! Thanks jen!

I made this dish for the second time now and my family really enjoyed it. Originally, I used fresh chicken and in the end it shredded. This time I used frozen and the chicken pieces remained intact. I also used jarred salsa this time instead of my own homeade and it made a pleasant difference. OY! I think the sodium in jarred salsa was needed for flavor. I cooked on low for 6 hours and served over rice. Tomorrow we'll have leftovers for lunch after I shred the chicken and serve it in warm tortilla shells with a side of sour cream. Everyone here enjoyed this meal tonite. Thanks for posting!

Great dish! Didn't have enough salsa so I used a can of mild Rotel. Entire family loved it!

Really good! I used 15 oz of salsa & 8 oz of light cream cheese, and followed your directions exactly. The house smelled sooo good when I got home!! Before serving, I added about 3/4 cup of cooked rice — I wanted to wrap the mixture in tortillas, and it seemed a bit "juicy" for that, so i added the rice --- DH & I both enjoyed, and I'll make again!
