I usually use pie crust to top my cobblers, but my DH wanted me to make one closer to the way his mom made them. This recipe is not the one I am searching for to meet his request yet I found this cobbler to be easy to put together and quite good. I did add cinammon, nutmeg, & vanilla to the fresh peaches.

This is real easy to make which is great - you can whip it together after dinner and have it warm for dessert with iced cream or whipped cream. However, the batter (which rises to the top very nicely!) was not as tasty as it is in some of the other cobbler recipes.

I made this today. It's good but very sweet, I'd cut down on the sugar next time. I did add vanilla and cinnamon to my peaches. It is beautiful, thanks for sharing. Lisa

Quick and easy Sunday night dessert. Great with Haagen Daaz Vanilla Ice Cream. I botched it and used all-purpose flour, but the crust did manage to rise. I also used canned peaches instead of fresh; I didn't cook them, just added the required amount of sugar.
