This is a nice chicken marinade, not too overpowering.I made some alterations because I was only using 2 chicken breasts.I did not use the full 1 cup of oil only about 4 tbsp. For the rest of the ingredients I halved each amount.

This stuff is wonderful! I used this to marinate chicken thighs, which I baked in the oven. I used fresh garlic and salt because I didn't have any garlic salt. Absolutely delicious!

Wow! This is the best chicken marinade I've tried. Wonderful full flavor with a little bit of zip. Easy to put together and delicious! I also halved the recipe because I was only making 3 chicken breasts. My entire family loved this! Thanks!

I started out just looking for a quick marinade with ingredients I had on hand and I ended up with the most fantastic chicken breasts we've ever grilled. The only change I made was that I halved everything (only making 3 chicken breasts) and I used a little Poultry Seasoning instead of the thyme (which is mainly ground thyme anyhow.) I didn't know that you could this much flavor without marinating overnight. Just fabulous! My hubby generally doesn't like white meat chicken, but he gobbled this up and asked for seconds!

Wonderful marinade! I actually made the marinade one day and got busy and did not use it for about 3 days. I think the flavors were even better after letting the marinade marinate! DH and I loved this. I grilled the chicken in a grill pan on the stove. It was tender, flavorful and cooked in a jiffy! I think this would also be good used as a salad dressing or as the sauce for a pasta dish! Thanks eebrag!

I was trying to find something similar to Chavetta's (known in Buffalo NY)and this was close! In fact, we won't be buying anymore of that...this recipe is so simple and tasty we'll be using this going forward. My husband couldn't stop saying "wow, this is good...really good..." I used 2 big cloves of garlic, olive oil (recipe didn't specify) and A1 in place of worcester (didn't have any). Marinated for 3+ hours...then grilled! PERFECT!!!

SO good! I used bone-in chicken thighs and roasted them in a foil packet along with quartered yukon gold potatoes and onions. The potatoes and onions were delicious cooked in the marinade and the chicken was incredibly tender. I can't wait to have the leftovers for lunch today. The only adjustment I made was halving the thyme.

This is by far the best chicken we have eaten!!! Every time I serve this the family goes nuts. I have pan fried and grilled the chicken and it always comes out awesome. The only thing I did different was use frest garlic instead of garlic salt. Thanks for the recipe!!!

Very easy, flavorful, and tasty chicken! The family was "yumm"-ing all dinner. I did halve the oil, and put less salt than directed. (about 1 tsp) It turned out perfectly!

Very easy and YUMMY! My BF raved for 4 days about the delicious chicken breasts I cooked using this marinade. I used basalmic vinegar and garlic powder instead of garlic salt, omitted the regular salt, and marinated for 20 minutes before broiling my boneless chicken breasts for 5 minutes each side. FANTASTIC!!!
