Very easy and tasty sauce to make! I used the full amount of soy, but did it with the low sodium Kikkomen, worked fine. I made a huge veggie stir fry with all the things from my garden. Wonderful!!

A delicious, quick & easy sauce! Using the full quantity of V-H Soya sauce, it wasn't overly salty. Since my husband loves stir-fry & I rarely use a recipe, it will be convenient having this on hand. Thanx Connie!

Yummy! This filled my craving for something garlicky and salty quite well! I served this with green beans, shrimp, tofu, and asian mushrooms. I also added probably 6-7 cloves of garlic instead (We are garlic freaks)! I added a few crushed red pepper flakes, too, to give it just a bit of heat. Thanks for posting!

i just submitted a review and "complained" because i used the entire batch of sauce and found it too much. i just re-read the description after posting my review and realized it makes a double batch. dooohhhh! sorry about that. i change my rating to 5 stars! no complaints here-next time i'll read all the info. thanks again.

This was very good and sooo easy! I had to substitute Mirin for the rice wine and, therefore omitted the sugar. I will definitely be making this again, but maybe a few flakes of red pepper...? However, that could just be just because of the sub I made. Thanks, Connie!

Very good all purpose stir fry sauce. Like other readers, I used the low sodium Kikkomen soy sauce and it wasn't too salty at all. I think that next time I may spice it up a bit and throw in some garlic chili sauce and crushed red pepper as my husband and I like spicy stir fry. Thanks for the great recipe. I'll never used jarred stir fry sauce again!!

This is a delicious stir fry sauce that's so easy to put together. I didn't have rice wine and so substituted apple juice instead. And I also substituted red chillie flakes for pepper as we cannot use pepper. Worked fine. Thank you Connie.

I recently visited my sister up in Conn. We got some broccoli with brown garlic sauce at a takeout place that was delicious! When I got home I looked on Recipezaar for the sauce and found your recipe. I served it over broccoli. This was so good. I also had it over zucchini cakes and my daughter had it on her chicken. Thanks Connie, for an easy delicous sauce!

Excellent sauce. I reduced the soy sauce to 1/4 and it came out perfect. Thank you for sharing. It tastes great over chops or veggies.

Super easy, and really good. Just what I was looking for to go with a few bags of stir fry veggies and some shrimp. I used almost the full amount of soy sauce (as I tried starting with half the amount in the recipe and it just was WAY to "vinegar-ish" for my taste). I also used dried ginger (a bit more than half the amount of fresh asked for in the recipe) and it worked fine. Will definately be using this again. Thanks!
