Excellent bread. Followed recipe exactly as written except used Italian bread instead of French. The olives were a definite plus. Next time I may sprinkle a little Greek Oregano over the bread before baking. Not that it needs it mind you. I just like to experiment.

Fantastic! I used fresh garlic in place of the garlic salt that I minced in the food processor. I added the olives & green onions and whirled for a couple of seconds then added the rest of the ingredients. Very simple to make. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. I will be serving this again! Thanks for a great recipe.

Man-O-man-O-MAN, was this awesome! I cut the recipe in half for the two of us and served it with "Spaghetti with Tomatoes and Feta" (Spaghetti with Tomatoes and Feta) and "Greek Salad the Best!" (Kittencal's Famous Greek Salad). What a delicious meal! I'm pretty sure I won't make any other garlic bread in the future. Thanks a bunch to you and your MIL!

This recipe is quick and easy to put together using ingredients I always have. (I didn't use the olives.) I served this with a big salad. We enjoyed your delicious bread and thank you for sharing your recipe LorenLou!

I have to disagree with another reviewer and say this was indeed heavenly! I followed the recipe to a t and we all loved it, this is a real treat that will go with anything you serve. This will be enjoyed many times in my home. I am thinking if you added some chopped cooked chicken breast before you bake this you would have a great meal in one. Oh I am sorry, I DID add red pepper flakes but I add those to everything.

We loved this! I followed the recipe exactly and was rewarded with a great addition to my Greek-style meal. DH went especially crazy over it. It was easy to make and I will be making it again. Thank you for posting!

OMG... I could make a meal of this bread all by itself! What a wonderful combination of flavors. I used minced garlic in place of the garlic salt. I'll be making this over and over again.

Loren, we just loved your Greek garlic bread, I made it tonight with my BBQ chicken, and baked it in my BBQ, the only change I made was I used fresh minced garlic (lots of it!) in place of the garlic powder, my family went bonkers over this! Thanks so much for posting Loren, I will make this again...Kittencal

It was good...but not heavenly. I used a thick loaf of French bread and it tasted more like bread than anything else. I would try it again or recommend using the thinner breads out there so that the flavor is more balanced.
