I make this dish often. My grandmother's recipe also had 1 cup grated swiss cheese. Mix 1/2 cup in the recipe and bake and then in last 10 minutes of baking, top with remaining cheese and bake until bubbly & melted. This is great served with any pork dish and good for potlucks and family get togethers.

I really lked this. I fixed it and shared it with my neighbors and they raved about the taste as well. The Jiffy Mix really gives the corn a new texture and taste which we all loved. We had this with venison chops and it was a great match up. We'll definitely make this when we have venison again. Thanks for sharing this.

I have been making this exact recipe less the eggs for years. We love it!!! It is so easy, my 10 yr old DD always makes it for holidays and company. I will have to try it with the eggs, but thought anyone who can't eat eggs would like to know it's great without them. I use a glass 13x9 dish. It needs to be a thin layer or it will take forever to cook. I have yet to find anyone who does not like it. I love it and don't make it unless I have someone to help me eat it, as I just can't stop eating once started. I will come back and rate and compare with eggs after I try it. Thanks, Recipe Girl

This is the exact recipe I use and have for years!! SO good!! The only difference is I use a 9x13" pan... and cook for about 45 minutes. I prefer it "thinner" like that. It's tradition for me to have it on all holidays! Yum!

I made this last night with baked chicken and they both went so well with each other. The dish came out so light and fluffy and not to mention buttery...I did add a little more melted butter on top about 10 minutes before it was ready. My DH asked me how come I haven't been fixing corn like this all along. Needless to say, I will be making this again and again. Great recipe!

I have to agree with these reviews: this is a wonderful easy recipe. I made it for Easter dinner and my family loved it! It does work very well in an 8x8 square pan. I did leave it in the oven a little too long because the rest of my dinner wasn't ready, and the edges got chewy; so beware of that mistake!

I made this thinking I was coming out with cornbread, instead I got a side dish that my bf and i devoured. Its like cornbread thats so soft and moist, you eat it with a fork or spoon. I will DEFINTELY be adding this to my regulars list. So easy to make also.

I make this as the recipe states but I add 1 Tbsp. of sugar for sweetness. My family loves this! I started making this for the holidays but now it's requested quite a bit here! lol The best!
