Thanks Nimrod! These were the best hush- puppies I have ever had...and the best part was... I made them. A very easy recipe to follow and make. I really loved the flavour that the buttermilk and the green onions added. I will be making these again often...so good served with simple baked fish...and a green salad.

Chosen for ZWT game, sooooo good, I added in some grated Parmesan cheese and used garlic powder in place of the onion powder, fluffy and so delicious, thanks, Nims, great recipe!...Kitten

Excelllent recipe, love justin wilson, miss him, only thing I did different was to use 1/4 c.Vidallia onion instead of green, and as justin did in many recipes added 1 tsp/ tabasco sauce. Just great, you deserve 5 stars. Thanks for posting.

You cannot go wrong with this recipe. The buttermilk makes them light and fluffy. I added chopped onion and jalapenos to give them some kick.

Great Hush Puppies, served them with Blackened Catfish #26059. DH loved his dinner tonight the hush puppies are right up his alley. I cut the recipe down for 2 people, other than that I made them just like the recipe stated. The green onions really added a good flavor. Thank you so very much for posting this recipe.

OMG - these are sooo good! My daughter and I made them for our first-ever fish fry and they are just "the bomb". We followed the recipe exactly, except for adding a dash of cayenne pepper for a little kick. We will definitely make these again and again!

I love these! This was my first time preparing hush puppies and certainly not my last! Easy to make! I removed the hush puppies from the oil with a slotted spoon and drained them on several layers of paper towel. The green onion is a must. I can now declare myself a proud member of the Hush Puppy Hall of Fame!

These are great! I added about 3/4 c. of diced sweet onion instead of green onions and about 2 diced/seeded jalepeno peppers. They turned out just right.
