i made this last night for dinner. i used cream of chicken soup, sour cream and the chicken flavored Stove Top and it was nice; really nice. the chicken was a little bland, however. i recommend seasoning the chicken before placing it in the baking dish. then just follow the rest of the recipe. i will make this again, but with the adjustments i just mentioned. thanks Dorel. it was quite nice.

This ranks among the best of the many chicken casserole recipes I have made. The chicken bakes up moist and tender, but the best part is the crisp stuffing on top! The sauce with the vegetables and stuffing would make a good dish without the chicken! I used 5 breasts weighing about 1 3/4 lbs, and it did not cover the bottom of the 13X9 pan so I will use smaller pan next time. I also had to bake @ 45 minutes! I used cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and the Stove Top for Chicken. Thanks Dorel for such a great recipe!

Yum! I put it together and refrigerated overnight. I used more than 1 1/4 pounds chicken breasts - closer to 2 pounds actually -because that was the closest size. That did not impair the tastiness of the dish at all, however, next time I will probably use the same amount of chicken and throw in the whole 16 oz. package of frozen mixed vegetables and use 2 boxes of the stuffing mix as suggested. I will also salt the chicken breasts before cooking because they needed salt. Thank you for sharing this recipe! I will make it again!

A delicious recipe Dorel. I doubled up on the stuffing too, cause we like stuffing! I used mushroom soup, and green beans, very good, I cooked chicken for a little longer, we like our meats very done. Will make this one again!

This is a simple and fantastic cassie, Dorel! I used frozen broccoli and cream o' chicken ff soup, and, gosh, the combo of the whole dish is yummie! I cut it back cause there's just 2 of us here, but, heck, you could add on lots for company! We really enjoyed, and you can bet I'll be making this one again! Thanks so much for sharing ... Laudee

Hubby just said, "OH, THIS IS GOOD!" Somehow I KNEW he would, Was sent some Stove Top for Thanksgiving, TRUE! Thought at time, what would I do, Recipe's similar on box, yes, Is this a keeper? Don't have to guess! GREAT for entertaining, BONUS can be made before, Who could want for any more? ***Personal note: Hubby does not like mushrooms or anything that has to do with cream of mushroom etc. He LOVED the sauce and never questioned did it taste like mushrooms!

My husband and I really enjoyed this! It was delicious. I used one pack of frozen chicken breasts (thawed) and a frozen vegetable mix that included peas, carrot sticks, sliced green beans and corn. I didn't have sour cream but used low fat creme fraiche. I also used Stove Top Cornbread stuffing for something different. This recipe is fantastic. When I make it again (and there will definitly be a next time if my husband has anything to say about it!) I will try your suggestion of using homemade stuffing. Thanks!

I made this on the phone with a friend for dinner. I made it one way, he made it another, just to get the benefit of 2 experiments at the same time. I think my friend reviewed this too. I've got to say this was easy and wonderful. I added some balsamic vinegar to the chicken first, and some Italian seasoning. My chicken was juicy and tender and melted in your mouth. I didn't let it set overnight, either. I just made it and baked it for 2 hours. Thanks Dorel! This was great!

I made this recipe using 98% fat free Cream of Mushroom soup, low-fat sour cream, StoveTop cornbread dressing (2 boxes) and I had 4 very large boneless chicken breasts which I cut into pieces instead of leaving whole. My choice of vegetable was frozen green beans. I used a 13X9" pan and after placing all the ingredients, I covered the pan with foil. Baked as directed for 45 minutes then removed the foil and continued baking another 10 minutes. I served it with applesauce as my side dish. Boy was this delicious!! DH raved about how much he enjoyed it and so did DS. So simple to prepare and easily a one-dish meal for those busy weekday nights. This will definitely be a repeat at my home. Thanks Dorel for another winner!!
