Took this cake to a party the first time I made it and was a little frightened at it's appearance. When I flipped it out of the cake pan it kind of sank in the middle and looked like it wasn't quite done cooking. It was though and it tastes FABULOUS if you can ignore how it looks. It's very rich and moist and the coconut and pecans add a nice crunch. Thanks for a great recipe and an interesting conversation piece!

Very rich and moist, I love the cr. cheese. You can test this cake with a cake tester. Another keeper!!

This cake was by far the ugliest cake I have seen, but wow it tasted yummy. I have such a sweet tooth that it totally hit the spot. I thought that the cream cheese would be a seperate layer, but when all was said and done it created a carmel type layer on the top of the cake. I don't know if it was suppose to, but it was delicious. Definately a keeper.

I've made this many times and everyone always loves it. Quick and easy enough that my 13yr old can do it herself now. I've made it without coconut (not as good in my oppinion) for my sister who refuses to like coconut despite my persuasive arguments and it turned out fine.
