Suzanne, your Pancakes provided the perfect Saturday morning breakfast at our house this morning! Just the right amount of sweetness to this batter. The cakes rose up nice and plump on the griddle. With my addition of pre-sugared, freshly sliced strawberries, whipped cream and real Canadian Maple Syrup, what a delightful way to begin a weekend! Thanks for this great recipe, Suzanne!

Suzanne, tried your Pancakes this morning, and they had a great taste. The kids loved them. They had the texture that I like in a pancake.

WOW! Look no further y'all this is SIMPLY THE BEST pancake recipe EVER. I'm a mother of three and have always purchased the 'just add water' pancake mixes. NEVER AGAIN! This is the only pancake recipe I will ever need or use! My 13 yr. old son prepared the mix adding in two mashed bananas & doubling the recipe. It made nine BIG & FLUFFY pancakes. OH SOOOO YUMMY! Thanks ~Barenaked Chef~ for sharing such a wonderful recipe.

I love this recipe. This was my first recipe off of the zaar website. I wanted to make pancakes but wasnt willing to pay for a box mix when I could have the ingredients in my pantry to make them. It doesnt take any longer than making "fake cakes" - pancakes out of the box. I will probably never use a boxed mix again. My daughter loves to help me make these. I have made them plain and they do great with fruit mixed in, KUDOS!!!!

I was just looking for a quick pancake recipe for a late dinner last night. Our favorite pancakes are too involved & more work than I had energy for. These were simple, easy & most of all, fluffy. We're just not thin pancake eaters around here. The taste was great, they were filling & satisfying. I made a double batch with no trouble. I didn't need any extra milk & they were pourable & rose nicely. Thank you for a great recipe!

These are very easy and fluffy pancakes to make. Each of my 5 grandchildren have added them to their Cookbooks they have on my site. The girls say they want to fix them for their kids.

Oh my gosh, I can't believe I didn't rate this yet! I've been making these for about 4 months now, once or twice a week. Sometimes more. They are SOO good. They don't taste like the "just add water" ones from a box. That's all I used to buy but could only make them once in a great while because they got sickening after a few bites. I love this recipe, and after trying a couple different ones from this site with disappointing results, I know that THIS IS IT! I'm rating this 5 stars the way it is, however I put chocolate chips in mine when I have them and rate it a 10! lol. Thanks so much.

I have tried several pancake recipes in search for one that is light and fluffy and will result in a pancake that has loft (doesn't run all over the pan when pouring and rises a little during cooking). I tried a popular one on this site that had to sit in the fridge overnight and those were good but way too much work for this busy mom. These didn't rise much, but then the dough was thicker so it didn't matter. I love these. They made about 16 tea-saucer sized pancakes. They cooked SO nicely and were not dried out after sitting to warm in the oven till all were done. This is now my go-to last minute pancake recipe. Thank you so much!

My kids make me whip these up at least once a week since I'm home during the summer (teacher). I never have anything left for man's best friend on this meal. Great pancakes!
