63 Reviews of Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

From: Kim in Walnut Creek

On Nov 21, 2003

Excellent recipe! The result rivals the best restuarant biscuits and gravy. I added a few dashes of Tabasco but other than that, I stuck to the recipe exactly. Really, really, really good, and I was raised in the midwest on biscuits and gravy! Thanks Kelly

Not only is this recipe easy, but it tastes great. The gravy has excellent consistency and good flavor because of the worcestershire sauce. I would recommend this recipe to anyone who enjoys a good, hot breakfast! You won't be disappointed.

This is great! Worcestershire does it. I leave onions out for those who don't like them.

This is the best sausage and gravy DH and I have ever ate in our lives!!! Perfect in every way, measurements of ingredients etc... Only thing I did do different was I used Half and Half milk with regular milk divded of each. It was totally the best!!! I made homemad biscuits too! Thanks for sharing your recipe Kelly!! Its most certainly going to be what we use in our house from now on.

AWESOME! We used hot sausage which gave it a kick. It makes a lot, so we had plenty of leftovers. If you reheat in the microwave with a little milk, it's fine. Everyone raved about the flavor. I prefer freezer biscuits over my own or refrigerator. They remind me of KFC's. GREAT RECIPE! Thanks.

WONDERFUL! I was intrigued by your method so had to give it a try. Sure glad I did! I'd practically given up making milk gravey because it was either 'greasy' or tasted like paste. This is perfect! A definite keeper!

This was my first time making biscuits and sausage gravy from scratch. I was very, very happy with my results. It is such an easy recipe as well as delicious. I wouldn't change a thing.

I loved this recipe, so easy. This is the way I have always made it but I just dumped Ingredients in so it never came out the same twice. I did use Wondra instead of flour and used 1/2 of milk amount with 1/2 & 1/2. Really good.
