Very good and creamy. I have made this with powdered sugar which makes it even more like the mall version. Love it, and drank it all the time when I was pregnant too. Easy to make if you don't mind getting the blender out.

This was great - reminds me of a recipe I used to make in home ec. a long long time ago. I used lowfat milk and splenda in place of the sugar to try to save some calories. I had no problem with it separating and some of it sat in the blender for quite some time until we were ready for "seconds"

OH wow, My favorite treat as a kid was to go to the mall and get an orange julius. This taste just like them, I am in love and can now make them for my Kiddos. Thank you so much for this great recipe!!

This is a great recipe and it really does taste like an Orange Julius drink. It makes a big batch and is fun to make.

very very good, does taste just like the one in the mall. I don't have to wait to get it at the mall anymore, even my husband agrees. To reduce the sugar I mixed 1/8 c. Splenda & 1/8 c. sugar. I made just as stated.

So refreshing! I made this for my family last night and we loved it. I used to always buy orange julius's at the mall and havent had one for a long time. So glad I found this recipe, we loved it. Thank you for sharing this recipe with us.

Yummo! I scaled it to 2 servings but still used 8 ice cubes (I like my smoothies on the thicker side) that I added in one at a time. Otherwise, I kept the measurements the same and it was great! Like an orange creamsicle! I was glad to share this with my BF, who have never tasted an Orange Julius before.

Really great! I had to add a ton of ice since I was using fresh oj and I sort of overdid it in that respect, making it kind of too icy. But they do that at the mall anyway. Had some problem with separation. Nothing too bad, but after 20-30 minutes it was in two parts. Just make it and drink it! The ice would melt anyway. It makes a decent amount of beverage. Almost too much for the two of us to drink.
