This was delicous. I cooked the roast in a six quart crock pot and it only took four hours on high. This is now a family favourite

I didn't have a roast, so I used a tenderloin and used 1/2 of other ingredients. I ended up adding some cornstarch to thicken the sauce. The meat was so tender that it shredded up, then served it over rice. The family loved it. I thought it needed some tang. Next time I'll do 1/2 preserves and 1/2 barbecue sauce for a little extra kick.

The sauce is a great match for pork. I did add a pinch of ground cloves; that was a perfect addition with the sweet ness of the preserves and the mustard flavor. Since I noticed that the sauce was very thin, during the last hour of cooking, I took out about 1/2 cup of sauce, dissolved some cornstarch in it and added it back to the crockpot. That thickened the sauce up wonderfully. Thanx for a lovely pork recipe. I'll use this again with my little adaptations.

I, too used a tenderloin, and cut indgredients. I would up the Dijon a bit for more zip, but it was delish, and really good cold. I added carrot coins to the crockpot & they had a great flavor as a side dish.

I followed one reviewer's suggestion and used half apricot preserves and half BBQ sauce... and it was out-of-control good. I'm making this over and over again.

This was a delicious pork roast. THe smell while cooking was great! I didn't have enough apricot jam so I used half apricot and half pineapple jam and turned out yummy! Made an excellent gravy.

When I put this into the crockpot in the morning I didn't know that I was going to have 3 dinner guests that evening. This was a new recipe so I was a little nervous to be trying it out on guests. I had no need to worry. This was great! It was so good that while I entertained the kids my husband and guests ate the whole thing not realizing I hadn't eaten yet. I mean not a scrape left over! They all wanted to know how I had made it. Thanks so much for a great meal!
