Mmmm! An excellent savory curry with simple ingredients, and fantastically nutritious to boot! I like my curries much spicier, but I used your spice amounts, and found the subtle blend quite nice --next time, though, hot chiles galore get sauteeed with the onions! Thanks for the recipe.

Following the Joy of Cooking, I boiled my sweet potatoes in their skins for 15 minutes, then pulled them off. I used a whole onion in big chunks because I like onions! I used frozen chopped spinach and omitted the water. Next time, I'll use more of the spices, but this was nice.

Wonderful. I've been eating sweet potatoes instead of white and was looking for something different to do with them. This was perfect. I used it as a side dish with baked ham. For my own taste, I'd use a little more curry or cumin, but I like very spicy dishes.

This was awesome! So healthy and satisfying. I will make this many times. I did use frozen green peas instead of chick peas, since I'd already used my last can in hummus earlier in the day. But it really made the dish even more colorful! thanks for posting!

Wow! It was sooo good and I finished my plate in less than 10 minutes! I added some garlic when I sauteed the onion. Next time I will add some ginger as well. I also added 1 tsp of salt and some cayenne to kick it up a little. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

I made this as written with the addition of 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper. It was so good! I will definitely be making this again- it is possibly the best vegetarian curry I have ever had. I served it over RecipeMonster's Lemony Brown Basmati Rice and the tang of the lemon complemented the sweetness of this dish perfectly.

Good enough for company! We really enjoyed this a lot. The only thing I did differently was to finely mince the onion with a hand operated food chopper. Served it over brown basmati rice. Excellent dish.

Not only is this dish completely delicious, but it's absolutely gorgeous in presentation. I'd LOVE to serve it to company. The recipe yields a lot, and I find that the leftovers taste even better. So good. I will make it again very, very soon.

Oh, boy!! I'd rate this ten, no, twelve, no 100 stars if I could! It had a great balance of flavors and textures, and it made a perfect vegetarian meal when served with yogurt and couscous. Thanks for an amazing recipe, Kozmic Blues!
