This is a pretty good snack - something different and healthy. I added a little more chili powder and garlic salt (in place of onion salt) - I also roasted them slightly longer. I would definatley make them again. Easy to take to work instead of crackers

Terrific recipe. I did make some subs due to what I had around the house--I never have onion salt, so I just used some kosher salt and onion powder. Also didn't have dried basil so I just left it out. For the paprika, I used a smoked variety that was outstanding. I also roughly doubled all of the spices, although I wasn't measuring. These were great with some mahi-mahi. Thanks for posting--I'll play around with this recipe again!

Loved this recipe! I've always boiled my edamame and then just sprinkle some salt on it. This is a dressed-up version of my favorite snack. Thank you so much for this wonderful idea!

VERY good as a side dish...especially as part of a "tapas" menu. Even better the next day...and cold!

I had just came home from the Japanese grocery store with a bag of edamame when this recipe leapt out at me. It's different from the way I'm used to eating edamame but could become a new favourite. Very easy to make and quite spicy, which is a good thing in my book! The only thing I did differently was to use Japanese 7-spice instead of chili powder.

I really enjoyed this, a very refreshing and yummy new side dish for me! Thank you! Definitely preferred them warm however. They do reheat the next day just fine in the oven. DH not so much....I should have known better than to try my luck and get him to try something new that is not only green, but looks like (and is)-OH MY a bean as well. Oh well, more for me!

This is a great recipe! As I had no olive oil, I used sesame seed oil and I think this only improved the receipe! My 13, 10, and 8 year olds loved it. 5 and 3 year olds proclaimed it "gross" without trying. Husband noncommittal, though...he's not a big soybean fan.

This recipe was really good and super simple. The only thing I did different is at the end before serving I added a little bit more olive oil for finishing, because I found it a little dry. I used a really fruity finishing olive oil. Super Duper though!

Thanks for sharing your recipe. I thought it was really good! I took the suggestion of one reviewer and added extra olive oil, about addtional tablespoon, but I added mine before I put it in the oven. This recipe was nice for a change of flavors. I think I prefer the fresh Edamame boiled then salted... But like I said this is nice for a change in flavors.. Thanks for sharing!
