I can pretty honestly say that I never met a pizza I didn't like, but this one is exceptional! It reminds me of the "Hamburger Pizza" my mom made when I was a kid, which was a neighborhood favorite. For the dough I used a 1 pound bag of Trader Joe's refrigerated pizza dough. It was the right amount of dough for one pizza. I used three cloves of garlic and added some dried oregano to the meat mixture. I used Velveeta "slices", rather than buying the big "block". This recipe is a keeper! Thanks Vina.

Velveeta has never tasted so good!!! I just made this pizza for lunch today, and I've gotta brag: This is the cheesiest, meatiest, tastiest pizza I've ever made at home!!! My family totally agrees... This recipe is certainly aptly named. I think we all may soon be in need of a 12-step program for pizza addiction. Thanks for an excellent recipe, Vina. Oh, and my family says to tell you thanks, too.

My step-son had some friends over last night to just hang-out. So of course, ya gotta have pizza. This one was extremely yummy and a big hit with the kids. I made three 12-inch round pizzas and the toppings made it very hearty and filling. The Velveeta is the essential ingredient! Thanks for sharing your recipe.

This is so tasty and cheesy, we really enjoyed it. I only used 2 cups of mozzarella and it was enough for us. This makes HUGE slice of pizza! It's practically deep dish material, with all the toppings. The velveeta melts right through the hamburger making it all cheesy goodness. Thanks!

Wonderful. I tripled the recipe as we had several friends over for a casual dinner, and used about 1.5 cups of mozza per pizza. 4 cups would be INSANEly cheesey!!!
I followed the recipe exactly (except for mozza amount), & added some cooked bacon to one as a topping & mushrooms as another. We all really enjoyed - the cheese forms a gooey, warm layer of yum.
Thanks!

I am not one who usually chooses a "meaty" type pizza, as I am partial to veggies or chicken-n-whitesauce ones, but this one is really yummy! I used Eazy Peezy pizza dough (1/2) and Velveeta slices. I didn't have enough mozzarella on hand so I used some cheddar on there too. Next time I will add more garlic and maybe even some mushrooms. Very tasty and filling, thanks for a great recipe!

Vina, This is a great pizza, and you are right it is very filling. DH could only eat 1 1/2 pieces and he is a half a pizza sort of guy. I would never have thought of using velveeta on a pizza but it is the secret ingredient that gives this recipe its special "kick." I ended up using about 4 ounces. Also, I like your technique of partially precooking the crust before adding the toppings. Everything was done at the same time and the crust was done to perfection. I made it as directed except that I used all hamburger and added some crushed red pepper flakes and oregano to it when browning. Since there are only two of us, I wrapped the individual pieces in plastic wrap and then froze in a freezer bag for future lunches or maybe dinner on a busy night. Thanks for sharing!
