This recipe takes me back to high school...my boyfriend was Latin and his mother taught me to make her secret recipe pico de gallo...it was amazing! I remember she would make huge batches of it and use them as decoration in her Latin inspired kitchen. Every single time I was at that house there was a pot of Mexican rice on the stove...there for anyone who wanted it; anytime. And for special dinners, we would make homemade tortillas...delicious! Thanks for bringing up such a happy and cherished memory! Oh, since no one here knows her...her secret ingredient was lemon juice instead of lime and lemon pepper...just a tad! Linzi

Just the way it should be, yummm. Just the right amount of tangyness, hotness, saltyness. Unbeatable with nachos or anything mexican.

WOW! I made this for a party today and quadrupled the recipe. It was gone quite quickly! I had a TON of compliments and credited it to a "recipe I found on Zaar, with 25 ratings, all with 5 stars! It is SOOOO GOOD and I don't think I'll ever eat just salsa again...Pico de Gallo, especially this recipe, is so YUMMY! Thanks for this WONDERFUL recipe!

I am so glad you posted this recipe! This salsa is so easy and so delicious! I make this year round for our family because we eat a lot of mexican foods. This salsa is even good when you leave out the onions,(I have to because my husband and kids don't like onions at all). Eat this salsa with tortilla chips or on tacos, burritos, eggs, whatever! You can't go wrong with this one!

FABULOUSO!!!! I just made this for my DH, I can't wait till he gets home to try it!!!!! Hope I don't eat it all first! LOL. The only changes I made were the juice of one whole lime and two cloves of garlic finely minced.

Great recipe! We enjoyed this very much, and it was easy to make. I served this with chicken mole (recipe for sauce from ciao) and refried beans (recipe from DiB's).

This was a huge hit at our Memorial Day BBQ! I added a little garlic, just cause we're garlic lovers, but it was fresh and wonderful and the cilantro made my kitchen smell fantastic! Thanks Angie!

Yes! Thank you for this recipe; I used it tonight in a copycat version of Applebee's Quesadillas (which I'll be posting shortly, unless it's already on here). The flavor combinations are simply heavenly, and if you use a food processor, it takes about 5 seconds to make it. Yippee!
