great recipe SueL! I used dried soba (buckwheat noodles) and it had a wonderful flavor. I think it would be wonderful with udon too. I used only 2 tsp of sugar, and it's perfect for BF and I. I think I added more than 1 TB of ginger as I love ginger. I also added a few cloves of minced garlic. Yummy! Thanks for the recipe.

Very nice recipe! I really enjoyed the flavor and theease of making this. Made a great lunch. I made 2 slight changes, reduced the amount of sugar a little and added shitake mushrooms. Have to recommend! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

This is good - I used leeks instead of cabbage - and also added some snow peas besides the grated carrots. The colors were lovely - I used egg noodles and sprinkled with scallions, and crispy shallots, and crispy garlic before serving. We had it with Pot Stickers #13320 and Soy Ginger Dipping Sauce #62708.

Delicious! Served garnished with red Japanese pickled ginger. A definite make-again.

I tried this recipe and thought it was a little strange to add the meat after the vegetables. I had to cook it for longer to ensure the meat was cooked. It turned out great in the end though!!

Oh this was so good! Every bite was a pleasure. I used all of the listed ingredients, except I used a tad less meat (3/4 pound). I found the measurements to be very accurate. The sauce was so delicious and the finished dish looked so colorful - it was very appetizing. I measured everything out in advance and it was really a snap to prepare. Thanks!

Yum! This was very tasty! My family enjoyed it (even the picky 11 yo and even pickier 3yo). We used Udon noodles...Next I make this I'll add a clove of crushed garlic with the onion and toss in some snow peas as another reviwer had suggested. Oh, I also added a dash of sesame oil - yummy!
