This was good, really good! I certainly picked a winner to try here! Didn't change a thing, not one thing, and that's probably a first for me, I change every recipe, including my own. On my last trip to the States I bought a Microplane ribbon grater, and I had these large, lovely, yummy shavings of Parmesan resting on my hearts of palm. So easy, so impressive, so yummy!

This is one of the most requested extras by my family since I introduced them to Hearts of Palm [which I have enjoyed for years.] I like to use the cuts and tips that are available. Just as good and a bit less pricey. Try it over fresh, chopped spinach, YUM. Two thumbs up! 9/16 - Maybe you should hold off on the spinach for now? Try butterleaf lettuce.

Excellent--even without the tomatoes. I used some slivered Vidalia onion instead of the green onions. It certainly is easy to make! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

This was soooo yummy. I used red onion rather than green simply because I forgot to buy some at the store and had the red in the pantry. I also used cherry tomatoes since they are better tasting this time of year. I used grana padano cheese since it is what I had on hand. I also served it on top of a bed of greens. I think I cut the hearts of palm and the tomatoes too big. I should have 1/4 the cherry tomatoes (they were big) and cut the hearts thinner. Even my DH gave it the OK and he doesn't care for hearts of palm. Thanks for a great recipe. I can't wait to serve this to my guests next weekend.

Wow! What fun! I like to go to a store and purchase something I have never tasted or heard of before and find a way to cook it! (Thank God for RecipeZaar and all it's creative cooks!) This was delicious! Very easy and so fresh. I have made it three time so far and will make again and again. My daughter keeps asking me for the recipe, she likes to take it for potlucks and BBQ's in B.C. I have added sliced black olives on one occasion for a change but otherwise it is terrific as is!! Thank you for posting this yummy surprise.
