This is a standard at our house. It is especially quick and easy if I have the bacon made up ahead of time. We also like it with mini shell noodles. UPDATED to add: I have found this works well in a crockpot also. I combine all the ingredients, doubling the soup but leaving out the cheese until later, and cook on low for a few hours. Right before serving I add the cheese and stir. I have even assembled it the night before, refrigerated it and then cooked it the next day and it works great.

This is a really good recipe! It is a tasty and quick meal that can be made ahead and then heated through. While I might prefer some onions or spices, my youngest DS was happy no onions were included. The bacon makes this dish really good; I used center cut bacon and threw in a couple extra slices. I also added about 1/2 soup can of water because it was a little dry. I also added some extra cheese. It is something I will be making again. Thanks for sharing.

My kids and DH all inhaled this! Super quick and easy to put together. I had 1-1/2 lbs ground beef so added 12 oz. pasta, still one can of tomato soup just added 1/2 can of water as well. I also added extra cheese. Very kid friendly, quick, delicious dinner. Thanks!

Oh!!!kim127,this was really just so good!!! i thought with the soup that it would be too tangy, but it was just perfect. i skipped a step and cooked the bacon and ground beef together.i used maple flavored bacon, and it smelled wonderful while it was browning.this going to be made often at our home.thank you so much for posting.

I am surprised that I liked this dish, because as I was cooking it, I thought it needed some seasoning and wasn't sure about the tomato soup. However, it turned out to be pretty tasty. I liked it better than husband did, but he said it was ok. I give it 4 stars because it was very easy to make and budget-friendly, too! Next time, I will probably add some garlic, salt and possible onion. Thanks for a keeper!

This was a great dish! The only thing I might change is to add a few seasonings to it. We added onion salt, garlic powder, and pepper to ours and I might even add a bit more next time. I also think it might be good with a bit more cheese and bacon but of course more of either of those is always good. Definately a simple dish and fairly quick to make.

I used fully cooked bacon which I doubled the amt. and cooked it w/ the ground beef and added garlic and onions. My DS's thought this was terrific but my DH and I found it on the bland side so used salt and lots of pepper on ours.

We liked this very much. I did add chopped onions to the beef as I browned it. I took another reviewer's idea and added some ketchup and mustard. When it was all stirred together it seemed a little too dry, so I added 1/2 soup can of water. I'll make this again; thanx!

Definitely a hit at our house! I added some diced onions and garlic powder as suggested by others. I eye-balled the pasta and think I put too much in because it was a bit dry. So I added about 1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce. No problem though as this was just delicious. Definitely a "do again" recipe. Can't wait for the leftovers at lunch time tomorrow. Thx Kim127

A very easy mid week meal that is very filling. I used alot more bacon than indicated, as I have a love of bacon, but otherwise kept everything as written. Thank you for a great, easy meal that uses ingredients that most of the time, I have in the house already.
