These were delicious although we didnt manage to get them back in the skins as are skins were far too thin. Instead we made large potato cakes from them and baked them that way. Really were the nicest potatos we have had and Id say it was even nicer this way rather than back in the skins.

THE BEST twice baked potatoes I've ever had. I loved this, and my guest raved as well. Really simple to put together, and I wouldn't change a thing. Make these potatoes.

Using the concept of recipe # 36633, made these for Thanksgiving and had a nice presentation change! I made these 2 weeks prior to Thanksgiving, vacuumed sealed, and froze in the freezer. Took out of the freezer Thanksgiving morning, placed into a muffin pan, added the crumbled bacon, and baked as directed adding about 10 minutes extra in the oven. Everyone raved how good these were and how cute they looked as compared to having the regular old mashed potatoes in one big pan. Thanks LorenLou for a new family standard potato for the holidays. Will be making again for Christmas brunch for DH's family.

I've made these potatoes several times now and my husband and I just gobble them up! I don't bother measuring anymore; rather I just throw in a bit of this and a bit of that until I have the proper consistency. As when I am making mashed potatoes, I melt the butter and warm the milk first, then mix them in. It makes it a smidge easier on me. These potatoes wrap and refrigerate beautifully for a snack or side item.

These were so good! I baked them in the oven for 1 hour (wanted authentic baked ones), used a melon baller to scoop the potatoes out and had a little trouble with the thin skins. I pressed onward - glad I did because when you fill the skins back up, you can form them back into shape and after baking again, they looked fine.

Delish! I recommend NOT using the thin skinned potatoes I did; they're too fragile to stuff without falling apart. But the flavor... oh my! Thank you, LorenLou!

"Yummy, yummy in our tummies" - as my kids would say. Easy to make. I made extras and froze some for future meals. These are better than my Mom's.

Hubby wanted Twice Baked Potatoes for our fifth anniversary yesterday, so I decided to make these. He WOLFED it down, and then ate my leftovers. Excellent recipe, very rich. I'd cut back on the milk next time, but other than that, we have a definite winner here.

YUM! Made these to go with Mean Chef's Pulled Pork and a tossed salad and my family enjoyed the results very much! I didn't have bacon, but I did have some cheddar bacon cheese and I used a little of that grated to add a hint of the smoky bacon flavor. I also used garlic salt instead of regular salt for a little extra zip! I'd definitely make these again!

De-lish! ANd so simple to make. Ingredients are items you usually have at home. DH loved also. Highly recommend.
