Ok I remade these cookies using bread flour. The bread four is a MUST. When I made them before using all purpose, the taste was good but when the cookie cooled they got a little cripsy (so it's perfect if you like a crispy cookie) However I like a chewy cookie and chewy is what you get using bread flour. I cooked them 6min rotated the pan then cooked another 6min. for 12min total which seemed perfect in my oven. Finally a chewy cookie after they cool. Thanx.

This is a great cookie. I followed the recipe exactly, and when I baked them at 375 for 14 min., they were a little too crisp. Reducing the bake time to about 11 minutes made a wonderful crispy-on-the outside, chewy-on-the inside cookie. Delicious.

These are so simple to make and SO good! I made mine with peanut butter chips once for a change and they were also very good!

These are delicious, chewy cookies! The recipe didn't really state how large to make them, so I figured they should be quite large to fit only 6 on a cookie sheet, but next time I would drop about a tablespoonful down for each cookie as they spread quite alot. Large, spreading cookies not withstanding...we LOVED them! Thanks for posting!

There are very good cookies. I don't like cookies that get real crisp but didn't want anything real gooey either. These fit the bill perfectly. Chewy but not 'wet' or gooey. I followed the recipe exactly as written except the 'store in an airtight container' part because there were none left to store. They all were eaten within a few hours. I got much more than the 30 cookies that it said it would make so I must have made smaller cookes, mine were slightly larger than a store-bought Chips Ahoy cookie and I got 48 cookies. Plus I ate some of the dough before I made the cookies
the dough was even better than the cookies themselves! I will make this again and likely make them soon and often.

We have been searching for a chocolate chip cookie that holds its shape; like the ones you see in the bakery. This is the one! Although I am a HUGE AB fan, it pains me to say that they tasted good but weren't a favorite. We like them less "cakey".

GREAT cookies! I ate so many of these. I made mine a little smaller, and I got over 50 cookies out of it (they were about 3 inches in diameter when cooked). Also, they didn't take but 7-8 minutes at 375 since they were smaller. Yummy! Going to go make another batch now!

These are the ONLY choc chip cookies that I make...so chewy and yummy. People always are so happy when they see a plate of these coming their way. I double or even triple the batch and freeze half for later use. Thanks for posting so I don't have to!
