Perfect way to fix this squash. Great instructions for all cooks. I like to take it and mix it with melted butter and garlic. Pop it back into the oven topped with mozzarella. Talk about YUM and comfort food.

Easiest way to cook a squash - I used the microwave method and the stings/flesh practically fell out of the shell. Thank you

I never knew you could microwave spaghetti squash- I've always baked mine. I tried your microwave cooking method and it came out great in just ten minutes, rather than the hour it takes in the oven. I used Spaghetti Squash Alfredo after cooking it. Thanks for sharing these easy techniques!

I used the microwave way of cooking these bad boys. The squash turned out GREAT... the actual dish... not so stellar. BUT the way to cook this type of squash is right on the money. Thanks for the instructions!

My Mom used to make spaghetti squash when I was little. I loved it! Having never made it myself, I turned to Zaar. Lo and behold, I came across this recipe for the most perfect spaghetti squash ever! I used the microwave method and it was great. I then tossed with some melted butter and garlic like MysteryGirl mentioned in her review. I topped mine with Parmesan though as I was out of mozzarella. Thanks for this!

This worked like a dream!! I used the oven method — I think it was in there for over an hour and a half, but that's because I ran out of counter space! I pierced it a few times beforehand, and I had no trouble slicing it in half once I took it out of the oven. We had this with Spaghetti Sauce, and they complemented each other really well. Thanks for posting — I will never cook spaghetti squash any other way!

My aunt brought me a spaghetti squash on my birthday (I'm not sure what inspired her to do that...), but I had no idea how to cook it. I ended up baking it and had to bake it a little longer than specified but I think that's because our oven is on its last leg (poor thing). Thanks for teachign me something new. The squash tasting amazing, as well!

This is very helpful. I have never cooked spaghetti squash and this gave me different options. Thanks a bunch.
