Oh my!!! this was sooooooooo good! I was thrilled to death with this pumpkin pie. I did add more sugar to the cream cheese mixture,as others mentioned in their reviews and I also added a bit more to the pumpkin mixture with a dash of cloves too. I love cloves in my pumpkin pies. My step son really enjoyed it, he loves cheesecakes so this fit him to a tee. I also want to add that my pie looked just like it does on this recipe. another thing to add about how thrilled I am with this recipe is.... usually when I make cheesecakes they don't turn out that good but this one was totally right on the button. Thanks for sharing your wonderful pumpkin pie. Its a keeper for sure!!!

This was ok, but I thought the cheesecake layer needed to be a bit sweeter. I will make again, but I will add a bit more sugar.

This is 5+ stars pie. I loved the flavor of pumpkin with cheesecake. It was a hit at Thanksgiving. I will be fixing this pie more often. I did use FF cream cheese, evaporated milk, egg beaters. Thanks for sharing this wonderful pie.

Wish I had used a smaller pie plate so as to have a thicker layer of that lucious cream cheese mixture. That is my only complaint. Great pie, really!

This was delicious and everyone loved it. I left off the pecans because I knew someone was bringing a pecan pie to the dinner. I didn't want pecan overload. Even without the nuts, the maple syrup added a new dimension. I had to make it twice though. The first one was the 'learning curve pie' that I left home. The cream cheese layer didn't firm up enough to prevent it from spreading upwards when I put on the pumpkin mixture. But the second one was perfect. I just carefully spooned the pumpkin on and gently spread it around and it stayed distinctly layered like the picture. Beautiful when cut! I will make this again. Thanks so much for such an easy and pretty dessert.

Wow! This is one beautiful and delicious pie! I made this for Thanksgiving dinner, and it turned out just like the photo, very impressive and sooooo simple to make. The maple syrup and pecans are a great touch and makes the pie look so "finished" so pretty. This pie got rave reviews and I have orders from the Thanksgiving crew to make this one again! Thanks for a terrific recipe!

Good! I think you were REALLY serious when you said "spoon CAREFULLY over cream cheese mixture". I unfortunately had to learn that the hard way! I poured it a bit before I noticed that the cream cheese mixture wasn't completely firm and I ended up with a 3 layer pie instead of 2! I will post a picture to show you what it looked like (but leave yours as the default of course!) All in all- the taste was still wonderful!

This was very good and simple to make. I admit that I panicked when I saw how thin the pumpkin layer was mixing so I added flour to thicken and extra nutmeg, cinnamon and some dark brown sugar. I will be making this again in the future. Great recipe and it does look beautiful when sliced.

I'm sure this pie is going to taste yummy, however, having just made this I wanted to add a suggestion. I refrigerated this for 45 minutes, and VERY carefully spooned on the pumpkin filling. However, when I was about to put this in the oven, I noticed the cream cheese mixture was floating to the top. Looking in the oven now, there are big blobs of white on top. I didn't realize (and maybe others don't know this either) that I needed to make sure the cream cheese mixture was firm before adding on the pumpkin mixture to get the separate layers. I thought 45 minutes was enough, but I guess I should have left it in longer.

This was an awesome combination of my two favorites. I did up the cream cheese to 12 oz and increased the sugar to 1/2 cup to adjust for the increase but otherwise followed the directions to a tee. My DS has given it the thumbs up and has begged for more last night and today. We had this for our Thanksgiving dinner.
