Hey, Kittencal! This combination of flavors is outstanding and I thank you for sharing. I love to marinate and your recipe made our top sirloin super flavorful and tender. Still wondering though about what makes it so special. Perhaps the ginger? At any rate, I can hardly wait to use it again. With gratitude, E.

WOW. Thanks so much for this - just had this tonight with roast pork for our family Easter lunch and it was awesome. I am having guests for dinner next week, and i am tempted to make it again!! I did everything exactly as instructed, although i did double the recipe. It was really, really good and the pork was amazingly tender and tasty. For anyone that is interested, I marinated a 3lb loin of pork in this marinade for 24 hours in a Ziploc bag in the fridge, let it come to room temperature (as instructed!), and then roasted it at 450 degrees for 10 mins and then 250 for another 50 mins - then let it rest 15 mins (covered in foil) before slicing - and it was PERFECT. Thanks so much for the recipe, Kittencal, i have already shared it with my Mom and others!

Tried this marinade out today and it gave my top sirloin an excellent teryaki-style flavor. I used powdered garlic instead of fresh, maple style syrup, and left out the worstershire sauce.

This was an excellent way to prepare sirloin steak. The whole family enjoyed this along with beef lo mein noodles and salad. I marinated for about 5 hours and the flavors were fabulous. Thanks for posting this; I will use it often!

Liked this marinade a lot. It gave a great flavor to the steaks without being overpowering. I made it as written - and will definitely make this again. Thanks !

AWESOME marinade. I used it for some cheap steak cuts and marinated them all day. They were tender and so flavorful! I had every intention of using the grill but ended up having to broil the steaks (and pan-fried 2). I have never had such tender, juicy and flavorful steaks out of the oven! I will use this again and again. Great Flavors!

This is really agreat marinade! I was looking for a marinade for pork tenderloin, saw this, and decided to give it a try-I'm so glad that I did! I scaled down the recipe, since I was only grilling two slices of pork tenderloin for DH and myself and only used 1 T. of oil. It downsized beautifully and the combination of flavors really complimented the pork. Thanks for posting this, Kittencal- I'll be using this again!

Wow, We loved it! I made this with a huge pork roast, didn't have cider or red wine vinegar, so used balsamic vinegar. Added fresh grated ginger, and a sprinkle of the dry ginger too. Used garlic powder, and the olive oil. Fantastic, melt in your mouth meat! The sauce in the pan was awesome too, drizzled over the meat. Thanks Kit!! (I only had time to marinate 2 hours, but poked holes in the roast with a knife)
