After years of trying scores of recipes -THIS IS THE ONE!! Exactly like my English grandmother made. I can't believe how easy this is and how light but crispy. Thanks for this recipe.

We had roast beef for dinner and making Yorkshire pudding is a definite isnt it! Very easy recipe..4 eggs made the 1 cup..I made them in a 9x13cm roasting dish instead of muffin tins. It puffed up beautifully and tasted great. *The timing takes a little longer than just the 15 minutes stated at top of page.

I have tried and failed with previous Yorkshire pudding recipes. This one is so easy to remember and easy to make. I think it is worth noting that 1 cup of eggs is 4 large eggs. Also, I use about 1/4 cup of batter per cupcake tin. It took less than 15 minutes though.

May I add my kudos to this outstanding recipe! Until I tried this one I had little sucess getting my Yorkshire Pudding to rise enough in the oven. This recipe produced the lightest, mile high puddings I have ever seen. Flat puddings of the past are over. Here are a couple hints to make your Yorkshire Pudding-making experience even more successful: The 1:1:1 ratio of ingredients makes this an easy recipe to double or triple, etc. Measure the eggs first and make the other ingredients match. For a smoother batter, mix it up and leave it on the counter at least a half hour before putting it in the oven. Give it one final whisk before placing the batter into the tins and into the oven.

Fantastic yorkies. I have tried many different recipes and decided I needed to introduce my American friends to the world of good old Yorkshire cuisine (my mom is from Leeds) and needless to say they were all impressed. Fab recipe. Thanks for posting.
