Delicious, decadent and so easy to prepare. A real winner; thanks for posting!

This pie is incredibly rich! I used vanilla instead of bourbon and walnuts instead of pecans. Next time, and there will be a next time, I think I will cut the chocolate chips to 1/2 cup. This would also be good with cinnamon or butterscotch chips, I think. Thanks for a great and easy recipe!

My son had this pie at my neighbor's house and promptly pronounce it the best pie he ever had. I made this recipe because it was exactly the same one she made. The only correction I had to make is that the recipe calls for baking only for 30 minutes but I had to bake mine for about 60 minutes. Oh, and I used a graham cracker crust because that is what I had on hand.

I've loved this pie since I was a kid growing up in southern KY. I sometimes leave out pecans (friends are allergic), also sub some of the chocolate chips with white and butterscotch chips instead. But you CANNOT leave out the bourbon!!!
