Fab recipe, Lennie! I generally do not bake, but I used your cookie dough to go with Bethany's great Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cookies to give as holiday gifts. They were awesome, many thanks!

These certainly were "Perfect" peanut butter cookies! I didn't change a thing when I made these, and baked them for the 7 1/2 minutes you recommended. They were great! I'm glad you mentioned that they may not look "done" when they come out of the oven, or I would have probably stuck them back in for another few minutes! I ended up with a perfect chewy peanut butter cookie.. just the way my DH likes them! Thanks for another great recipe, Lennie!

These cookies were great. I followed the recipe to the letter. I completely agree that chunky peanut butter has no place in a peanut butter cookie (or in my household for that matter), and I loved the texture! I also made balls out of the dough, criss-crossed, and baked for 7 1/2 minutes and the cookies were perfect. They didn't spread much, if at all, so I could crowd them onto the cookie sheet without having them all run together! Thanks so much for this recipe!

This has been our favorite peanut butter cookie since I found it last year. But today I tried something different. Instead of plain PB I used the new Kraft peanut butter with chocolate. For those who love PB and chocolate this is a nice change. Thanks fpr posting a great recipe Lennie, the picture I submitted is the PB with chocolate ones.

I made these this afternoon because we were craving Peanut Butter Cookies and since I had all the ingredients on hand they were so easy and baked up perfectly! We loved them. I rolled them in balls like another reviewer and then pressed each out with the fork tines. I am not much of a baker but these were so easy to make and tasted delcious! This is a keeper! Thanks!

I accidentally used 2 sticks of butter the first time I made these, and my family was wild about them! They were unbelievably good! Made them a second time using 1 stick of butter, and they were ok. Made them a 3rd time with the second stick of butter and again the family raved about them! I definitely recommend trying 2 sticks of butter, and otherwise following the recipe exactly. YUM!

This is a really good cookie.Everyone in the house loved it and my husband said to me while shoving in a fist full of peanut butter cookies (you need to make some more of these) The only reason I gave it a 4 stars is because my first batch was a bit dry and I could taste the salt so in my next several batches I did not add any salt and added a half cup more peanut butter and they turned out great!!!I will use this now as my cookie recipe.Thanks.

Our family enjoyed these cookies, but I would only give them 4 stars rather than 5 because they turned out very crumbly. I followed the recipe to the letter. The flavor was wonderful...very peanutbuttery, which we love. My batch just didn't seem to "set up" well.

These turned out great! I am definately a novice and thought for sure I would mess this up some how, but they came out perfect and still remained a little soft overnight. I didn't have pure vanilla extract so I had to use artificial vanilla flavor. I also have no sifter so I just used a fork to mix up the flour. If these were any more delicious it would be a sin for sure. Thanks for a great PB cookie recipe!
