Very, very good, Tweeky! I gave this to friends this Christmas, packed in 1 cup Christmas design canning jars and accompanied by a Christmas themed spreader. Consequently, I just mixed everything (minus the seeds) together and packed in the jars. No muss, no fuss, and everyone raved. (I had to make a second batch for my family, due to the sour looks I got for giving it all away!) Thanks for posting!

Excellent! I made one large cheese ball to make it easier to Christmas guests to "slice" a wedge for their plates. It worked great! I highly recommend making one, albeit very large, cheeseball if you have many guests or take it to a party. It maintains it's appetizing shape and it makes it easier for your guests. My photo shows just how large our cheeseball was! But, it was the best one I've ever made.

This cheeseball was a hit on the Thanksgiving appetizer table. Everyone wanted the recipe! Since I had never made a cheeseball before, I wasn't sure what to expect. Following the recipe exactly as posted, this was quick & simple to prepare. And the recipe does make two nice sized balls as noted, so I was able to serve one, and then give the other one to the hostess as a gift. I've already been asked to make this again for Christmas. Thanks, Tweeky!

It was a huge hit...it kept several days in fridge. I forgot to buy bacon, but it was still great. Now mine did turn out to be a bit more like a mound than a ball, it was a little soft, but tasted great. I might cut down the sour cream next time to make it easier to form.

Love this! I served it at a couple's baby shower and this was one of the designated 'Man Foods', so I upped the amount of bacon by about a third. It went over fantastically and was super easy to make ahead. If you have any non-dill folks, I would definately leave out the sweet pickles b/c it is a taste that comes through here.

since I rated your recipe a while back.(five stars) I would like to tell you a little story. My husband gave me my Christmas early, a bright red, very beautiful KitchenAid. I was speechless. The next day on his way home from work, he stoped at the store to buy the ingredients for not one but three cheese balls with everthing. One for his Christmas party at work, one for everyone in the front office, and one for his good friend at work. So that should tell what a great recipe this is! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

This was good, but there was a little too much going on in it for me, too many textures and flavors. I thought the sweet relish was a bit much too. We have a lot leftover after our party, which is disappointing. I followed the recipe exactly, and I don't think I got anything wrong. It just didn't wow me or my guests.

Exceptional Recipe. I make it for Super Bowl. The only modifications I made were Mexican Blend cheese because that's what I had and 16 slices of bacon because that's what was left in the package. It was very tasty! Will make again.

My first ever cheeseball was a huge hit with everyone eating it - so glad I tried this recipe! I have a feeling it will be made often. I think next time I might add a small can of chopped black olives and see what that is like - add a little more to that everything list!
Great recipe!

My 22-year old sister made this cheese ball for our family Thanksgiving and it was an instant success! Not to sound CHEESY, but these balls are fun and enjoyable to make and eat! We love your cheesy spheres! They have become a family tradition as they have touched our lives!
