Really good. DH wolfed it down. I made a few subs to lower the fat — turkey kielbasa (I can't tell a difference!!), milk mixed with 1Tbsp flour instead of heavy cream, and I added mushrooms! This made a load, too, so we're reheating it tonight! I liked the change from the usual pasta dish - which for us is a marinara or an alfredo/cheesy sauce. Did top with a sprinkle of parmesan. Thanks!

We LOVED this, sbsbea! Thanks for the recommendation. I subbed mushrooms for the sausage as you suggested (we don't eat meat and fiance is sensitive to seafood.) Also, I used half and half instead of heavy cream for the sauce, out of dietary guilt. Finally, I did take Boca's suggestion and add some white whine--I did this to deglaze the pan when the mushrooms and red pepper flakes were cooking. Fabulous meal. We'll make this many times.

Delicious! I made a couple of modifications to suit our tastes (deglazed with red wine after cooking sausage, used fresh tomatoes, instead of cream used milk thickened with flour) and it was still wonderful. Very quick and easy too!

I love this meal. It has turned into one of our favorites. I use hot italian sausage, instead of kielbasa(personal preference)and I also add about 1/2 cup chianti. This is true comfort food for me. Thanks for sharing, sbsbea

I am obviously in the minority here, but I did not like this at all. The only change I made was substituting milk and flour for the heavy cream. We won't be having this again...

Very good! I followed the ingredients/directions exactly except I didn't have fresh parsley and used 1 Tbsp dried flakes instead. I served this with a tossed salad and garlic bread. This dinner was easy, tasty and quick. We love keilbasa and I'm always looking for different ways to prepare it, so I'll be making this again, definitly. Thanks for posting!

Absolutely fabulous!!! Ok, I have to admit I subbed — Healthy Choice Smoked Sausage in place of kielbasa, sauted in butter spray; only had 3/4 cup of heavy cream so used 2 cups skim milk mixed with a couple tablespoons of flour; used petite diced tomatoes; and added a good couple shakes of parmesan cheese to the sauce. I also added salt and pepper. Letting the sausage cook in the sauce added so much flavor! I thought my son wouldn't like the "pink" sauce color but once he tasted it, he was in for seconds. A definite keeper! Thanks so much!

The flavours in this dish are awesome! I only decided to make this for tonights dinner about lunchtime and the quick trip I made to the closest supermarket had no kielbasa, so I improvised and bought 1 Rookworst. I also bought a ciabatta loaf and heated it for 5 minutes, it was a great slop up the juices tool! Delicious, thanks for sharing.

Really good and very quick to prepare, using ingredients on hand. After realizing the chicken I planned on cooking was foul (ugh), an hour before my husband's birthday dinner, I found this recipe in my cookbook. Only changes I made were to use half and half instead of cream and to add a package of sliced mushrooms along with the onion and garlic. Everyone loved it and the birthday dinner went off without a hitch. Thanks for a great recipe!
