13 Reviews of Broccoli Aglio Olio (With Garlic and Olive Oil)

From: Take a Letter Maria

On Dec 3, 2006

Great recipe, sometimes I don't bother to steam but use the large sautee pan to do everything. I place the broccoli in the pan with about 1/4 of water steam a little then drain and go on with the rest of the recipe. I have also done this with asparagus and green beans, Delish!!! Thanks for the great recipe.

If you love broccoli, this recipe gives it just a little bit of kick to change things up a bit. But I use this site to find recipes to try out on the anti-veggie men in my home, and this is not one of them. Definitely an "adult" dish, in my opinion. Not for the kiddies!

Quick, easy, and really good! I might add a little more garlic next time since we loooove garlic. Thank you for sharing!

We liked this. He liked the heat red pepper flakes, though we could have gone for more garlic actually. (We love the stuff). Overall though, thanks for a quick tasty way to get more vegetable onto the dinner table.

This was very good. Didn't find it overwhelmingly fantastic, but was a nice change of pace. Thanks!

I liked this a lot. I love spicy food and have a really high tolerance for heat. That said, the others who ate this with me said it was wayyyy too hot, which surprised me. I guess halve the red pepper flakes, test, and then add more to suit your spicy preference?
