I was also raising eyebrows at this. Velveeta cheese and chocolate? This is the best easy fudge recipe I've ever used. I took it to work to do the taste test - they raved about it and I didn't tell them how it was made until after I heard the comments. They could not believe it. I won't go back to the Marshmallow cream ever again!

I had to try this, as I was curious to find out how it would taste! DH peered into the saucepan while I was melting the cheese and butter together, and asked me what I was cooking. When I told him it was fudge, he raised his eyebrows at me in disbelief, and walked away! Well, after allowing it to cool and firm up in the refrigerator, I've just sampled a slice; it's great! I can't taste the Velveeta at all, and I don't think anyone would guess the 'secret ingredient'! After melting the cheese and butter in the saucepan, I let my stand mixer do the rest of the work. After pressing the candy into the pan, I leveled it with a spatula. I did pat the top of the fudge with a paper towel, but there really wasn't much excess butter to mop up. It only took about an hour and a half to firm up in the refrigerator. I can't wait for DH to try this! Yum!

If I would of ate this without making it, I would of never have guessed this had Velveeta cheese in it. This was really good. I made this for company, I tried one piece and was impressed, Can't wait for my company to try this.

I would have never believed it if I hadn't made it myself. This was absolutely wonderful and so easy. You would never know that there is velveeta cheese in them. Thanks Sharon for a wonderful recipe.

I was 4 oz short on the sugar, but this is so sweet you won't miss it. I could probably have left out even more. This fudge is so easy and has a nice nexture. Love the pecans!
