I took this to a potluck and half the people there asked me for the recipe! I didn't like it right after making it, but after the flavors mingled for a couple of hours it was great. The next day the broccoli was still crunchy and the apples weren't brown. I doubled the recipe, using 2 granny smith and 2 macintosh apples. I did use extra yogurt — 2 6 oz containers. Thanks for a healthy delicious recipe!

What a great healthy salad! We ended up using about a full cup of fat free vanilla yogurt. The vanilla yogurt/onion combination was interesting - might try plain yogurt next time for comparison. The texture is wonderful. Thanks for the recipe! UPDATE: We've made this a few times now, and enjoy it the most with double the vanilla yogurt and the onions omitted. Thanks again!

Didn't miss the mayo a bit. The proportions of the ingredients are just right. I'm making a note to myself to cut the broccoli up the same size as the apples. Excellent salad!

I was looking for a side dish salad without mayo and this was a great find. I used regular (not low-fat) vanilla yogurt, macintosh apples, and vidalia onion (can you believe the grocery store didn't have ANY red onions?!) Not only does it taste great, it adds lovely color to the plate. Thank you!

A great little salad, Charlotte. I used one MacIntosh and one Granny Smith apple. Very colorful and fresh tasting. I liked the crunchy texture. I had to sprinkle a little salt on it, though. With my addiction to salt, there was no way around it. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Nice easy quick salad. Used cashews instead of walnuts and plain Greek yoghurt as that's what I already had. Went down well with the crew.

This is a wonderful salad. The flavors and textures were great! The colors are amazing and tempting, and the crunch factor was important for me. I did find that it tasted even better after letting it set for half an hour. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. Definately a keeper!

Very nice salad. I added some bacon bits for a little added flavor. This tastes better after it sits for a little bit. Very easy to make and will be having this quite often! Thanks!

Loved this! Added some cauliflower and celery, and left out the walnuts. Refrigerated it a few hours and the flavors blended really well. Loved the apple and broccoli together. I also loved the crunchy celery in it! Will definitely make again!

Ths salad was really delicious. The only change I made was I blanched the broccoli which made it a vibrant green. I love salads with raisins in them!
