This is HEAVEN! I will never do the filling any other way! The addition of cream cheese, spinach, and especially the onions is so incredibly delicious! I always have a little bit of a hard time spooning the filling into manicotti shells so I stuffed it to a plastic storage bag and piped it into shells. Next time I think I will use jumbo pasta shells for easier filling. Thank you Kitten for this mouthwatering recipe! It is a keeper!

Absolutely DELICIOUS, The filling is to die for. I made the recipe as stated, used a pasta sauce that I add some ground beef to. Since there was just the 2 of us I froze 4 of the Manicottti's, am looking forward to eating them soon. Kitten, thank you for this yummy recipe.

My guests proclaimed this manicotti to be outstanding! At first I wasn't sure of their reaction, because they weren't commenting or saying anything. Then I realized that they were just too busy stuffing their mouths and just couldn't talk. No doubt that the minced, sauteed onions and garlic made this recipe stand out from all the other manicotti dishes I've tried. I used fresh spinach instead of the frozen, cooking it until wilted in a non-stick pan and then wringing it out as best I could, chopping it roughly. I think I must have left a bit too much liquid in the veggies, since my filling was a bit softer than I expected. I was able to fill 10 manicotti and was the gracious hostess allowing my guests to take home the leftovers as requested. This is a recipe to keep and make often!

Great recipe! I have made this three time. The first time, I followed it as listed. I never made manicotti before, and didn't realize how much work goes into stuffing the things. The second time, I used only half as mush spinch, but I used fresh also. Seemed to me to be the perfect amount. The third time, I was lazy and used jumbo shells, and of course its the filling that makes this dish. Filling the shells was alot easier than the manicotti. Awesome recipe.

So good! I used cottage cheese instead of ricotta, and I added about 1/4 lb cooked italian sausage to the marinara sauce - yummy!!!

This was great, I agree with Asha that the addition of the onions and cream cheese was great. I make this a couple times a year and everyone loves it but they couldn't stop talking about it the other night. Thank you for a great new twist on a family favorite.

Very, very good Kittencal! I even made it with Ragu cause I was short on time. Can't wait to try it again with some good homade sauce. The whole family loved it! This will definitely go into the keeper file.

WOW, this was just SO delicious! This recipe appealed to me so much that I had no doubts about doubling the recipe - so that I'd have some for the freezer. And I was so glad that I'd done so. I used low fat ricotta and cream cheese, and I obeyed the strict instruction about the garlic! Apart from doubling the spinach, I made this exactly to the recipe. For the pasta sauce, I used KITTENCAL's yummy pasta sauce recipe. Absolutely loved everything about this dish, and I've saved this in my favourite recipes cookbook. Thank you KITTENCAL so much for sharing another fabulously flavoursome recipe.
