We LOVE this recipe! We used fresh peaches from the orchard and made some to last all year. We were able to get 5 pints from a double batch.

I only made one pint and we loved it. I will be making this again but I used a food processor and I really think the blender is needed. I also used canned peaches without a hitch but again next time I will be using frozen. I used this with Peach Pancakes Peach Pancakes and it was wonderful even the picky kids ate it. =)

This was so easy I almost wondered if I had missed something. I forgot to add the vanilla with the first batch and I actually liked it better without. I also tried a batch substituting honey (3/4 cup honey for 1 cup sugar) for sugar - and it was really good too.

I used my immersion blender on 16 cups of peaches, then added the sugar and lemon in the stockpot. Very easy. I came out with 7 pints and 6 - 1/2 pints. Great recipe!! I plan on trying this with other fruits as well.

I was looking for a straight peach syrup so I left out the vanilla. I also used fresh lemon juice. The syrup was delicious. I used the syrup as a substitute in Beef Kabobs With Apricot Glaze Beef Kabobs With Apricot Glaze with great results. Thanks for sharing.

Just made a big pot of this, and it is fabulous! I made 18 cups of peach puree but only put in sugar and vanilla for a triple batch. Filled 3 qts and 4 + pt jars. Next time I am interested in substituting the vanilla for almond oil.
