These were fantastic. I was pretty shocked, to be honest! While I was cooking this up, all I kept thinking was "balsamic and shallots...that's it? Really?" But I was very pleasantly surprised with the very first bite. The balsamic adds so much flavor but isn't overpowering at all, and the shallots add just the perfect amount of texture and flavor. It's also quite possibly the easiest dish to make on the planet. This is one that I wish I could give 10 stars! I'm now going to check out your other recipes to see what other goodies you've got hiding, mickie. THANKS!

This was THE best simple recipe I have ever tried!!! Word of advice to anyone that wants to make this ... DO NOT substitute the shallots! They make all the difference .. the sweetness they add compliments the Balsamic.. make this for someone you want to impress they will think you spent hours in the kitchen... awesome thanks!

Made this for the second time and enjoyed it as much as the first ! Easy, simple and simply delicious chicken dish - not only that ,look at the calories and fat content.. This took minutes to prepare and will be enjoyed again in the futurer. I recently bought a good quality (not truly aged but better than th low end) Balsamic vinegar and it is worth the extra cost. This chicken had a warm, peppy flavor. Served with whole wheat noodles, celeric/onion & steamed cabbage. Wonderful meal. Thanks mickie49 - this recipe is for everyday fare or company dinner times

We had this for dinner tonight and was such a great flavor for the chicken! I used boneless breasts and they came out so tender. So far it has to be the BEST chicken I have ever made. Thanks

Absolutely delicious! All of my kids loved this one — it was so easy, and I was quite frankly shocked at how wonderful the taste was! Very savory, yet just a hint of sweetness....Very tender chicken that even made my pickiest daughter come back to the kitchen and ask for more! The only thing different I did was to deglaze the pan slightly with 1/4 cup chicken broth at the end of cooking time, right before I removed the chicken (just for more sauce to poor over it). Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful, totally company-worthy chicken dish! I even chopped my shallots VERY finely to mask them from the kids, but that didn't even matter to them! They loved it — 8 thumbs up in a household of 4...You can't beat those odds! YUM!

Quick, easy, and delicious. I used a sliced onion instead of the shallots. The chicken was very flavorfull and moist. Thank you for this recipe.

Wow!! You people weren't kidding, this IS an amazing recipe. Just like everyone says: easy and delicious. I used red onions instead of shallots, and drained some chicken grease out before adding them. Next time I'll try the shallots, but it was outstanding even with onions. BEST meal I've had in a long time. I'll be making this for company to show off a little you can bet!
