ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS !! I made this last night with Roasted Resemary Chicken with Lemon/Soy sauce (recipe # 60201). It was great together. I followed the recipe exactly but switched the carrots for waterchestnuts ..(out of carrots). My DH inhaled the rice and I'm glad I didn't double it as I considered, because he would have eaten it all..and he's trying to diet Thanks for posting this....and by the way, I'm going to make it again tonight to have with our leftover chicken for tacos. Love it, love it, love it!!! I have never had Benihana's rice but this is absolutely delicious. I am Thai and make lots of Thai fried rice for my BF, which is very tasty... but when I want a very mild flavored fried rice to serve with some stir fry, I always turn to this recipe. My BF refuses to eat 'plain, white rice' (steamed Jasmine rice) so this rice is great for him. I also love how beautifully it fries up in the wok. Make sure to let your rice cool after you cook or otherwise you will end up with a big sticky mess intead of beautifully soft separate grains of rice.

Loved this. I used cold white rice I had cooked the night before. I added 2 tablespoons garlic a little mirin and some sesame oil. I have now found the perfect fried rice recipe. Thanks Andy

Great, great, great! It was also very simple to put together. It makes prep a snap since the rice can be made in the microwave and cooled until you're ready to use it. I didn't change anything and it came out perfect. My family wants me to try adding cooked meat (beef, chicken maybe even shrimp) to make it a meal. This will be a regular in our home. Thanks!

I loved loved this receipe. I made it as a side for chicken and my family loved it. Let me tell you i'm an inexperienced cooker and i did great. my family told me that was the best rice they tasted and it's all fresh. I doubled the receipe and added a few green onions as well as a little white onion..

I found the other benihana recipe and kept thinking "this doesn't look like the one I made earlier" I kept searching and was so happy to have found this one again since I made it a month ago and everyone especially my really picky son loved it. This one has the genius of being really simple the proportions are perfect and it is beyond delicious. A nice change from complicated flavors.

Great recipe! I don't know if it is like Benihana's rice because I haven't been in a long time but it was delicious and pretty easy to do. I didn't use carrots because we didn't have any around and I already had all the other ingredients so I chopped some red bell pepper up in put that in instead to give it a bit of colour. We had it with teriyaki salmon, soup and a salad with ginger dressing.

I thought this recipe was delicious! I added a little more carrot, but other than that it was perfect! I never thought it would be so easy to make fried rice.

Great recipe! So easy to follow, my 10 year old son cooked the entire dish by himself! It was delicious! Thank you!
