WOW!!!! What else can I say. This pie is fantastic. I threw it together in just a few minutes and I probably moaned like Rachel Ray while I was eating my first slice. The only change I made to the recipe was to use walnuts instead of pecan. I didn't have any pecans on hand. Thanks for the great recipe.

this is a great pie, served as suggested. I used mini chips, cause that is what I had, going in my repeat file.

Loved this pie! It is sort of a cross between a pecan pie and a Tollhouse type pie, with some special touches (coconut and rum). The only change I made was to use a homemade chocolate graham cracker crust. The flavors all blend together so well in this not-too-sweet pie, and it tastes like something you would get in a nice restaurant, especially when topped as suggested. Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe!

Ooooh...all we could taste was the rum! I used rum extract and my family swore I put the real stuff in. If I was to ever make this again I would definitly leave out the rum...

This was delicious!! I made 2 pies this weekend while at the lake. First pie was such a success that I made a second one the next day. The second pie I added extra chocolate chips in with the batter part. I served with vanilla bean ice cream and hershey's chocolate syrup. I also used milk chocolate chips in place of the regular chocolate chips. Everyone really enjoyed this pie and one I am sure to be made many more times. Thanks so much for sharing the recipe!

Pretty good, but it was too dry. Needs something else...I will have to play around with the recipe a bit.
