Excellent! I have reviewed 230+ recipes and only a very few have ever been described as "to die for" - I am adding this one. Most of our family lives in New England and this sounded very much like the stuffing/dressing seasoning we love. I thought it would be wonderful for Xmas gifts and gave it a trial run. I made the seasoning and the stuffing recipe as directed. I mounded the stuffing in a greased baking pan, topped it with 2 bone-in half chicken breasts and baked the dish at 350°F for 50 minutes. The 2 of us devoured every single crumb of the dressing. The ginger added such a magical flavor that I cut up the leftover chicken and added it to another batch of dressing baked in a covered casserole dish. I have placed an order to Pensey's Spices so I can share this wonderful seasoning (and stuffing/dressing recipe) with family and friends. Thanks Barb, for this very special recipe!

The flavor was wonderful!!! I prepared the stuffing as directed. Then I took Lorac's advice and placed two boneless chicken breasts on top of the stuffing. I then covered with foil and baked for about 35 minutes at 350°F. Then, I uncovered the dish and allowed it to bake a little longer until the stuffing turned a golden-brown. My DH who normally hates chicken said we would like me to make this again! Thanks Aroostook for a keeper!

After noticing how expensive poultry seasoning was at the store and that I had all of the individual ingredients at home, I decided to make my own. I found this recipe and since it had the same ingredients that the store brand had, I decided to give it a try. I am pleased with the results. I used the seasoning to season my Thanksgiving stuffing and it worked perfectly. It had just the right balance of spice.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! I wanted to make my grandmother's French Meat Stuffing for a Thanksgiving dinner here in Romania and we can't find Bell's seasoning here. This was PERFECT. I made a double recipe and followed the proportions exactly and the smells from my kitchen when I was cooking almost brought tears to my eyes. Well done!!!

Thank you for a wonderful recipe that I needed in a pinch when I made Smothered Turkey Wings for Turkey Wings. It was excellent! This definitely is a keeper and I think buying poultry seasoning is yesturday's news.

I love all the make it yourself recipes I've found here and this one was no exception. Used this to make Ww Homemade Turkey Sausage. I did add a little extra sage, just because I love it so. The dish was delicious, no doubt because it started with this terrific spice mix. (BTW: I was really surprised by the amount of ginger but it works.)

Great stuffing! My husband absolutely loved it! He said it's the best stuffing he had since a long time ago. The only thing I did differently - I put cubed and cored apple instead of celery since my family doesn't like celery. It worked out perfect. Thank you so much for a wonderful recipe! This will be the recipe for our poultry stuffing since now on!

I did what Lorac did---you can never go wrong doing what Lorac does!! Fantastic! Love the ginger. I'm going to get big packages of all of the individual spices and make up a whole bunch of this. I had to sub the marjoram and Thyme with herbes de Provence, but no problem, as they are both in the mix. When I make the big batch, I'll use the original spices. I may add some celery seed powder....this will be a new staple!!

I needed my Bell's for my chicken stuffing casserole, but couldn't find it. I instead found this recipe and tried it. It was an excellent replica of the original except for the texture. The dried spices were not as powdered as the original bell's, but I actually think I like it this way better. Excellent copycat you created. Kudos to you!

I made the poultry seasoning and it was great! I prefer this in a more powder form, so I popped it in my spice/coffee grinder for a second or two. Have not tried the stuffing yet, but the seasoning alone is 5 stars in my book! I have made the stuffing many times since I reviewed the seasoning & thought I should update my review... It is Very Good! In stead of fat and water, I used the broth and fat from baking a couple of chickens I had in the freezer, (I had baked the chickens with the poultry seasoning, onions & celery, the broth was so delicious!). So simple, but so tasty!
